December 13th, 2012.

I just finished my last exam, government, and I was out for the winter. I was going to Nantucket. Ironic, huh? Well it was. I found out that my fame was merely a british thing, although everyone knew about one direction here.

I listened to this girl blabber all about how much she wanted to touch Harry's hair. I wanted to tell her so desperately how I had once laid next to those curls, fell asleep to them obscuring my vision of the window every night.

I wound my scarf around my neck, and buttoned up my quilted jacket. It was snowing, but I didn't mind. I'd still go watch the lake. It was cold sure, but that's why I had the scarf.

Luke came and caught up with me. Luke is the cutest little thing, all the girls are fawning over him. He doesn't like me like that, and vise versa. Just best friends. I didn't tell him about one direction. I told him everything else. I made it seem like Liam was just a popular guy.

"Hey, are you still feeling sick?"

I loved his accent. He said he liked mine, but he had a rich savanna accent, and the gentleman skills to match. His future girlfriend will be so lucky.

"Yeah, I am."

I was pregnant.

3 months.

The terrible thing is, I don't know which one is the father. I'm a terrible, terrible person.

"Let's go to starbucks then."

"No, coffee will just make it worse. I need the lake."

"Ok..."

We went and sat in front of the lake, snow tucking itself into my hair, frozen cold sand kicking up against my boots. We sat down on a blanket he brought.

"Oh, look!"

I looked down the beach, and sure enough, there were five, very familiar faces. Oh my god.

"Uh, c'mon let's go."

"Don't you think shannon would like an autograph?"

"I don't want to talk to them. I bet they're stuck up."

That was a good exuse. That was my excuse when I first met them.

"No, I just think you're shy."

"Oh no! I feel really sick!"

"Oh let's get you back to your dorm!"

As we got up, the snow now covering the sand. My hair was blanketed. My famous auburn hair. The hair that Louis Tomlinson sung about. The hair that Niall Horan said would always be runway ready, even in a tsunami.

I couldn't help myself, I looked over my shoulder.

That was the last time I saw them for eight years.

The end.

Sequel called 'If You Ever Come Back", up now.
