It's Monday morning and I woke up with the same burn of embarrassment in my soul.

I picked up my phone and looked at it as I rubbed my eyes.
There was a message from Alissa on the screen - 'I won't be able to pick you up today sorry'

Great, I'm going to have to take the bus or walk. "I'm gonna have to take the bus," I said as my eyes widened, there was no way I was going to walk to school on a Monday.

I quickly jumped up and ran to the bathroom to take a bath, I quickly brushed my teeth as well before running out and hurriedly put on some clothes.

I was about to take up my school bag when I noticed it wasn't packed and my hair was a mess.
I quickly shoved any book I thought I had that day in my school bag, not having time to really think about it or to put them in an orderly way. Curse my laziness, I had started yesterday but stopped halfway then I got distracted, and then that entire encounter.

I then brushed my hair and added some products for a good look, I braided it in two as I walked downstairs with my bag over my shoulder and my phone in my pocket.

"What time is it, Mom?." I asked her.
"Seven twenty-five," she replied.

"Oh no, I have five minutes to get to the bus stop." I panicked.

"Here I placed your tea in a thermal cup, take an apple," she said as she handed them to me.

"Thanks, bye." I quickly took them and ran out the door.

I power walked straight to the bus stop and even ended up jogging a little, it was seven twenty-eight and the bus was just coming.

"Thank god," I whispered in relief.

I went in and sat down at a window with my bag in my lap
and began to sip my tea.

"Shoot, "I said as I looked down at my bag and noticed that the small part was open for the whole journey here, my correction tape and sharpener were gone. Great just great, that drawing pencil was new too.

'This day is already ruined' I said to myself once more as I rest my head on the window and exhaled loudly.

A shadow formed over me but I didn't look up, why would I, I was already feeling pissed.

"Here." the person said, his English accent was almost so thick.

I slowly looked up, his hand was held out towards me holding my correction tape and sharpener.

"Thanks, "I said as I took them out of his hand but he didn't respond nor did he seem to acknowledge me much. He just walked away to an empty seat and sat, his head was turned towards the window each time I glimpsed at him. The guy who saw me in a towel is on my school bus which means he goes to my school. Shit.

"See...."Alissa stressed, "Didn't I tell you that he was hot!!?."

We were currently standing at my locker as I looked at my schedule and removed the books from my bag that I apparently didn't need for today. Alissa was leaning on the locker beside mine behind my locker door while speaking.

"Well, he is something," I replied.

"You are so you, why don't you loosen up a bit?." She said laughing.

"I'm good thanks," I replied as I closed my locker, I was met by her beauty as she leaned off the locker, she was in a floral dress with side shoulder straps and white sneakers.

"Hey, Alissa," Leo said as he hugged her around her waist from behind.

"Hey Leo," she said as she turned around and hugged him, I don't think I've ever heard them call each other nicknames, maybe theirs a spiritual rule about that or something.
