I stretched my hand over to the door and knocked three times, I heard no reply but I entered anyway.
I opened the door slowly and walked in. Terrance was on his bed laying down with earphones in his ears as he nodded his head to the beat of whatever music he was listening to.
His head turned to the door as I closed it, causing him to sit up quickly and take his earphones out.
"Manda?." He asked sounding shocked.
"Hi," I replied as I did an awkward wave and smiled.
"One of our teachers asked me to give you your book since we're neighbours," I replied quicklyI watched as he squirmed a little as I looked at him.
'Now or never' my mind kept screaming.
"You can place it there." He said as he pointed to where he wanted me to put his book.
He was now sitting at the edge of his bed when I turned back around. I stood beside the book I had just placed down unsure of what I should do next.
"You can sit if you want." He stated after a while.
The only place to sit was on his bed. So I walked over to where he was and sat beside him, causing him to look up at me then away.
"We need to talk," I told him since it was obvious that he wasn't going to bring it up.
"There's nothing to say." He replied
"What? there's a lot to say, "I replied as my head snapped in his direction.
"I don't think you notice but I left a note." Was he serious right now?
"That note made no sense."
"I wrote that I was sorry, what part of that made no sense?" He still wasn't looking in my direction but I knew he could feel that I was looking at him.
"But you didn't say it."
"Did you really even mean it?" I paused then continued."Of course I did." He started, our voices getting a little louder with everything we said.
"Then say it."
"What?." He asked even though I'm sure he heard it.
"Then say it, say that your sorry, because................................ because I'm not." That line surely caused his head to turn in my direction, but this time he didn't turn back around he kept on looking at me.
"What?." He asked again, his eyes shined with the hope that he had heard me correctly or at least what was what I interpreted it as.
I couldn't take repeating myself like this it made me feel stupid.
'Now or never' my mind screamed.
"I'm not sorry that you kissed me. Okay."
"But you didn't kiss me back."
"Ho my gosh, you talk so much," I complained as I turned towards him.
'Now or never'
In one swift moment, I reached out and grabbed his shirt causing him to look down on my hand, but he didn't get to say anything as I pulled him to me. His eyes snapped back up to mine and it was obvious that he wasn't expecting that.
It was shorter than his kiss when our mouths touched and quick, but it was a kiss none the less may be more of a peck. I quickly let go of him and stood up from his bed. I was ready to leave, my job here was finished.
Without looking back I quickly headed towards the door.
I was opening it ready to retreat when a hand pushed on the door causing it to close.
His hand was right beside my head and I could feel how close he was standing behind me as the hairs on my body slowly stood up.It couldn't be possible that another person was making my heart beat so fast and it wasn't out of fear.
I turned around slowly, my back was now pressing on the door while his hands trapped me. They were placed on the door at both sides of my head.
I was afraid to look up at him, I was afraid of his reaction.
He placed his hand under my chin and lifted my head up to him. My legs felt weak and it's a good thing I had the door to lean against.
"I wasn't truly sorry either." He said as his head dipped down and he claimed my lips. His lips moved slowly against mine and very soon mine started to move also. It felt weird but nice.
His hand went around my waist and I tipped a little as he kissed me not wanting him to move away. I placed my arms around his neck as he continued to kiss me slowly and I tried to keep up.
Very soon a moan escaped my lips when his grip around my waist tightened causing me to move away from him slightly breaking the kiss.
I felt so embarrassed.
"It's amazing the way you react towards me" he stated as he pecked my lips one last time as he smiled.
I was out of breath as I opened the door ready to leave when he grabbed my hand causing me to look back at him.
"Let's hang out at the park tomorrow?" He asked causing me to nod my head as he let go of me.
I closed his door behind me and leaned on it as I looked up in the ceiling.
"Eeeeaaaaqqqqeeee" I squealed in excitement before trying to calm down, my very first kiss and I loved it. This whole moment was worth every second.
"I heard that." I heard him say from inside his room causing me to quickly walk down the hall, down the stairs, out the doors and to my house.
I felt embarrassed that he heard me behave that way. But I felt so happy, I've officially gotten a kiss that wasn't one-sided. I felt all weird when I thought about it making a feeling of static to pass threw my body. But it felt nice, unlike anything I've ever felt before.
At that moment I wasn't afraid of what could or might happen. I was only drowned in the possibility that all things were going to be ok.
Sorry I didn't get to post.
