Nakakatawa mang isipin but I did the most stupid thing I could ever imagine. Yumuko ako at tinabingan ang mukha ko ng buhok ko. If anyone would see, they would refer me as Sadako with my long, jet black hair completely— almost covering my whole face!

I just hope I won't be as dead as a meat for being the unluckiest woman ever. Sa lahat ba naman ng panahon? Kung kailan halos tawagin ko na lahat ng santa't santo para lang makaiwas sa lalaking iyon at narito pa ko! Although I don't really believe in luck, I guess there's no wrong for using it as an expression!
At isa pa, napakaraming tao rito ngayon, it would be so impossible to be picked out of this ocean of women... right? I mean, what am I saying? Hindi naman 'to isang screenplay o palabas na punong-puno ng mga scripted na pangyayari.

He was like the breeze at the moment, and it is very obvious he is so used to this thing. I scanned my phone when I felt it vibrating inside my pocket. It turned out to be my mom, texting me. Napahinga na lang ako nang maluwag at inayos na ang buhok.
Wala akong planong maturingang baliw dito. Dagdag pa na kasama ko ang aking pinsang iniisip na may namamagitan sa'min ng lalaking nasa stage.

Nagtitipa ako ng reply sa keyboard ng cellphone ko nang medyo nasilaw ako kaya itinaas ko agad ang paningin, nakakunot pa ang noo. Bumungad kaagad sa'kin ang spotlight pero mabuti na lang at dumaan lang ito saglit sa direksyon namin.
It was warm and luminous of course but it was too big too that nothing felt sane until it passed through me.
I sighed in relief. Inipit ko muna ang buhok ko sa aking tainga bago ipinagpatuloy ang pagtitipa ng reply kay mom. Mom is checking us out and I just realized it's already 10 in the evening.

Nang masend ko ang reply ay saka ko lang napansing mukhang tumahimik yata ang paligid. Was I too distracted that I did not notice some things? At bakit sobrang maliwanag?

Inangat ko ang tingin ko sa harapan at halos himatayin ako sa nakita. Sh*t!

Literal na napaawang ang labi ko sa napagtanto. Is this a joke?! How the hell did heaven and earth collide to make this movie reality?
Maagap akong napalingon kay Jaydee na ngayon ay nakangisi sa'kin. Isang nakakakilabot na ngisi. It was all that I've seen and the eyes diverted on me was like flashes of lights bombing me.
"Come on stage, Miss." Nabalik ang atensiyon ko kay Raven na ngayon ay nakangiti na. There is even an unusual spark in his eyes that I never wanted to see my whole life. Parang may isang bagay siyang inaasam at ngayon ay abot kamay na niya.
"Go na, ate Quin. You're so lucky!" Marahan akong itinulak ni Jaydee patungo sa hagdanan paakyat ng stage kaya wala na akong nagawa kun'di magpatianod. Everyone was making way for me while Raven went down on the stairs and offered his hand to assist me.
