"Good morning..."
A muffled groan escaped my mouth hearing an unfamiliar sound early in the morning. Napainat pa ako bago kinapa ang bedside table kung saan nakaugalian ko nang ilagay ang aking eye glass.
Hindi ko nakapa 'yon kaya kinabahan agad ako. Sh*t! Without it, I would be nothing!
Tatayo na sana ako at handa nang maghanap na animo'y bulag nang may nagsuot na ng kung ano sa'kin at unti-unting luminaw ang aking paningin.
I immediately searched for the person who did it and I almost regretted doing it since a very handsome man welcomed me after a deep slumber! Sino'ng hindi literal na mapaaawang ang labi sa gano'n? And imagine how his lips darted from my eyes down to them with my stupidity!
How can morning look be this alluring? Teka, baka may kung ano na sa aking mukha!
"M-Morning," bati ko sa kan'ya pabalik. I almost covered my mouth in embarrassment and fears of having a bad breath.
I tried to fix myself. Nakakahiya pa naman sa taong nakaunan ang braso sa kama habang titig na titig sa'kin. Nasa aking tabi lang siya at prenteng nakatingin na parang isang batang may kung ano'ng tinitingnan sa sobrang kuryuso, kung gano'n...
Teka, kama?
"Asa'n tayo?"I asked him as I scanned the room. It's a modern designed room, the interior design is simple and manly too. From the king sized bed, comfy comforters and mat. Everything's fine except the clothes scattered on the sofa.
Black and blue?
"In my unit. Luckily, the elevator was opened around... 4 in the morning. And because you were fast asleep as usual... Hindi na kita ginising." He grinned from l the few, last words he said. I bit my lip to stop myself from letting my jaw drop.
In his unit? Bakit nag-iinit ang pisngi ko?
I looked at him for a moment but it was enough to observe him, at mas lalong hindi lumabas na naninitig sa kan'ya nang walang pakundangan. Titulo niya 'yan.
Basa ang buhok niya, and he certainly looks fresh. Mukhang bagong paligo. Nakasuot lang din siya ng isang simpleng black v-neck t-shirt at shorts. His complexion without makeup and plain at this moment subtracted nothing from his deadly charms.
The natural structure of his jaw, the curve of his lips, the power of his nose and the brightness of his eyes are all it means to take your breath away. Hindi na niya kailangan pang mas'yadong mag-inarte.
"Don't tell me binuhat mo ako patungo rito?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko sa kan'ya. Did he? Did he really?!
"Okay. I won't tell you." Nagkibit-balikat pa siya! Nasapo ko na lang ang noo ko. Ano ba'ng iniisip ng lalaking 'to? Ginising na lang sana niya ako!
Who knows what he did... right? And even what I did! Baka mas'yado akong yumakap? Nag-sleeptalk. Did he... perhaps kissed me while I was unconscious?
"I don't take advantage to sleeping woman." His words from a not-so-distant memory played on the back of my mind.
"Good thing the elevator's fine already so it was easier. You never changed, honey. My sleepyhead, Quin." Tumayo na siya mula sa pagkakahiga sa kama pagkatapos bahagyang kurutin ang tungki ng aking ilong na halatang nagpipigil pa ng gigil at pumunta sa may walk-in closet.
I was still contemplating. What he said was creeping me out!
Everything about this unit is so much like him. From the simpleness and complexity it has. Lalaking-lalaki pero ang may-ari... Hm. And it does smell like him too. A mixture of expensive perfumes and a natural masculine smell after sweating and letting off steam.
