Takbo lang kami nang takbo papasok sa isang gusali, hindi ko na rin napagtuunan ng pansin ang iilang mga taong halos nabangga na namin sa pagmamadali. He pulled me inside an elevator. Nang magsara ito ay kapwa kami napabuntong-hininga.
We're catching our breaths when I heard him laugh all of a sudden. His voice echoed in the right space but it was still the same like how he laughed on his concert some months ago
"Anong nakatatawa?" tanong ko sa kan'ya, kunot na kunot ang noo. It's very unusual to see a person laughing all by himself. Para siyang baliw! Oh yes, baliw nga pala talaga siya!
"I forgot the fact that this elevator is out of order..." anas niya saka ako matamang tiningnan na parang inaarok ang aking buong pagkatao.
It took time for his words to register on my mind. Gulat akong napatingin sa kan'ya. I gave him a look- mixture of disbelief, sarcasm and mockery! Nababaliw na talaga siya at kung anu-ano na ang pinagsasabi!
"You're kidding, right?" Napasandig lang siya sa dingding ng elevator saka ako mas tiningnan nang seryoso. Sweat is dripping from his hair to his neck from running for 10 minutes straight and he was damn scorching! Damn hot!
"I hope I am... Unfortunately, not. Kaya nga naghagdan lang ako kanina. And imagine me doing that while my condo unit is on the 20th floor- I almost puked." I can't help but gape at him. Ibig bang sabihin ay makukulong kami rito hanggang sa hindi pa 'to naaayos?
God! It doesn't make any difference because a moment with him alone will always be a wrong idea!
"Urgh. Stupid me. F*ck this." Nakita kong naiinis niyang sinuklay ang buhok habang mariing napapikit. It was such a beautiful scenery even though how frustrating it appeared to me.
Marahas siyang lumunok at wala akong ibang nagawa kun'di sundan ang paggalaw ng kan'yang lalamunan at napalunok na rin. I am crazy!
"Pero hindi ba nabuksan natin? We can open it from here," suhestiyon ko pa. I was kinda... hopeful but being stuck in here with him has its own pros and con's.
"That's the point, honey. It's out of order since the inside buttons aren't functioning." Napahalukipkip ako, ramdam na ramdam ang pagtatagpo ng aking mga kilay sa labis na pag-iisip.
"Maybe some people will open it outside," pangungumbinsi ko ulit. We can't lose hope! At least, we got to hide from those crazy fans but here? Seriously? Walang tubig, mainit pa!
"I wonder there would be. Who would use an elevator with an 'out of order' sign, hhm?" Mukhang naiinis na yata talaga siya kahit na malumanay pa rin ang tono ng kan'yang boses. There is something in his calmness that is perilous.
Maybe because we're stuck in this elevator?
Actually, I'm not really bothered kasi alam ko naman na kasama ko siya. Pero mukhang magkaiba kami ng pananaw tungkol sa bagay na 'to. And it's hurting me again with the fact that it's only me who's happy with the both of us being stuck in here!
He doesn't want to stay with me! Damn it, sumisikip ang dibdib ko kapag naiisip ko 'yon.
Naupo na lang ako sa sahig ng elevator at isinandig ang ulo sa dingding. He remained standing, his full weight on the wall. Hinihilot pa niya ang sentido na parang problemadong-problemado talaga.

I suddenly felt off. I'm sad and angry at the same time but I'm trying to calm down like being calm is the only thing I should result to!
Hindi ko na pinansin ang pawis na nagsisimula nang manuot sa aking damit at ipinikit na lang ang mga mata ko. I hope this elevator would be fixed sooner. If that is what it takes for him to be feeling good again.
