Chapter 73: Almost

"Pupunta kami ng grocery store ngayon, mahal. May gusto ka bang ipabili?" I asked Raven as I took my phone from the table. Abala naman siya sa pagkakalikot ng laptop niyang nakadantay sa mga hita. Seryosong-seryoso pa ang mga matang binabasa niya ang business plans ng family business nila.

I don't know but he is starting to take interests with money-making that way. If I ask him why, he would just say it is for the future. Maganda naman... Pero hindi ko naman siya pinipilit kong ayaw niya. But knowing him, he always knows what he wants.

If he would venture on the business world, it won't be that hard for him to market his productions if possible. And should I add the fact that he has a very creative mind?

Itinaas niya ang paningin at nagtagpo kaagad ang mga mata namin. Matamang tingin ang kan'yang ibinigay saka bahagyang isinara ang laptop. Everytime our eyes meet, I feel so much better. And it just feel so natural, like this is what I am here for. To feel how warm it is to be with him.

Urgh, slut. Thinking of such corny thoughts even until now.

"Aside from the sweets, of course," I added when it seemed like he is reminding me of something. Hindi ko pa rin nakalilimutan kung gaano siya kabaliw sa mga gan'yan kahit hindi naman mabuti ang sobra. Matigas ang ulo minsan kaya hindi na napipigilan.

He acted like he's thinking and I waited patiently for his answer just beside him. Just few seconds, his face lit and he looker at me excitedly. Wow, Raven. Ang bilis mong makapag-isip ng kung anong kalokohan. Siguruhin lang niyang hindi at baka makurot ko siya. 

"I need an energizer," diretso niyang sagot at may multo pa ng ngiti sa labi. Napakunot-noo tuloy ako. Seriously?

"Para saan? Okay ka naman, ah? N-Nanghihina ka ba mas'yado?" I can't help but get worried immediately. Nilukob nang sobrang pag-aalala ang aking dibdib kaya hinipo ko agad ang kan'yang noo. Hindi naman mainit.

Idi-discharge na siya mamaya tapos hindi pa pala siya okay. We really need to extend his hospital stay right now to make sure! Ayaw kong baka may kung anong problema sa kan'ya at lumala nang hindi naaagapan kaagad!

"Hm, nope," he said, popping the p. I raised an eyebrow when he took my hand and gently squeeze it. Parang siyang-siya pa ang mga mata niya at iyon ang hindi ko maintindihan kasi ano nama'ng nakatatawa ngayon?

"I need more energy to make you pregnant as soon as possible. I want a son this instant," he stated grimly despite the obvious celebration in his facial expression. Napahakbang tuloy ako palayo pero hindi naman niya binitawan ang aking kamay.

I stared at him in disbelief but his face loomed with seriousness and determination from the joy in them. He is definitely serious right now!

"A-Are you serious, Raven?" Shivers ran down my spine like waterfalls with high current when he grinned. So... What did I get myself into? What future husband will I have when he is like this? This man would be unstoppable! I mean... He did make me pregnant some years ago... And that child could be three years old now...

"Yes, love. Very serious." Mas lalong lumalim ang tingin niya sa akin na halos hilingin ko na lang na nandito sina Anne na nando'n sa labas at ang Nana naman ni Raven ay lumabas saglit kasama si Tito. His mother and sister are coming so they could take care of his discharge altogether!

Awtomatiko akong naglakad palabas ng kwarto niya matapos mabilis hilahin nang malakas ang kamay ko mula sa kan'ya. I heard him chuckled before shouting, ''don't forget my energizer!"

Hindi ko na pinansin dahil walang katumbas ang kabang nararamdaman ko. Bumungad kaagad sa akin ang nagtatakang mukha nina Anne at Lawrence sa labas at seryosong nag-uusap. Mom and dad's home. Tita's on a book signing event and Javen's at work. Si Tito Ravoun lang ang naiwan para magbantay kay Raven.
