Chapter 1

It's my best friend, Julia's, 26th birthday, and the two of us are going to see the band One Direction in concert. Julia is dating Liam Payne, one of the members, and since he had a concert scheduled tonight, we came to see them perform.

Julia and Liam met last year at a party I threw and started going out like a month after. I met Liam through my best friend Niall, who I've known since I was little. The Horan's and my family are close friends, since our mothers went to college together. Mrs. Horan is my godmother, so Greg, Niall, and I were raised like siblings. I met Julia in college, she was my roommate my freshman year and stayed my roommate for the next four.

Niall, Liam and two of the other members of One Direction, Louis and Harry, started their reunion tour tonight, and it's been sold out for months.

Julia and I walk towards the front row and I check our tickets to see what seats we have, we then move further down the row and sit down. "What song are you most excited to see the boys sing?" I ask Julia. "Maybe Steal My Girl and Night Changes, I know those are basic but I love them." she laughs. "What about you?" "Temporary Fix, Stockholm Syndrome and Fireproof," I smile. "I forgot about Fireproof, that's probably one of my favourites as well."

The lights start to dim and the fans all around us start screaming. The boys step out on stage and fireworks go off as Harry sings his solo, starting off Midnight Memories. "Straight off the plane to a new hotel... Just touched down you could never tell.... Big house party with a crowded kitchen.... People talk shhh... But we don't listen."

Fans still screaming, Louis starts his solo. "Tell me that I'm wrong but I do what I please. Way too many people in the Addison Lee. Now I'm at the age when I know what I need, oh, whoa." Niall, Liam and the fans join in for the chorus singing, "Midnight memories... Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, baby you and me... Stumbling in the street... Singing, singing, singing, singing. Midnight Memories... Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, anywhere we go never say no, just do it, do it, do it, do it."

The fans continue their shrieking as Liam starts his solo, Julia smiling at him. "5 foot something with the skinny jeans... Don't look back, baby follow me." Niall starts his part, "I don't know where I'm going but I'm finding my way... Same old shh but a different day." The fans and Louis sing, "Tell me that I'm wrong but I do what I please... Way too many people in the Addison Lee... Now I'm at the age when I know what I need, oh, whoa."

The boys finish the chorus and Niall starts his solo. "You and me and all our friends... I don't care how much we spend... Baby, this is what the night is for." Harry starts his solo, "I know nothing's making sense. For tonight let's just pretend." Fans scream as Harry hits his high note, "I don't wanna stop so give me more..."

The boys finish the song, and then they sing Through the Dark, Better than Words, Change My Mind, Diana, Girl Almighty, Little Black Dress, Don't Forget Where You Belong, Everything About You, Fool's Gold, Gotta Be You, Fireproof, Love You Goodbye, Stockholm Syndrome, Why Don't We Go There, Olivia, Heart Attack, Happily, Never Enough, 18, History, Temporary Fix and then they end it with Little Things.

Louis takes over Zayn's solo at the start of the song and sings, "Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me.. But bare this mind, it was meant to be... And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks... And it all makes sense to me."

Liam starts his solo, singing, "I know you've never loved, the crinkles by your eyes when you smile, you've never loved your stomach or your thighs... The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine... But I'll love them endlessly." This time, Harry takes charge of Zayn's solo and sings, "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth... But if I do, it's you... Oh, it's you, they add up to... I'm in love with you, and all these little things." Louis sings, "You can't go to bed without a cup of tea... And maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep... And all those conversations are the secrets that I keep... Though it makes no sense to me."

Harry starts his solo, singing, "I know you never loved the sound of your voice on tape, you never want to know how much you weigh... You still have to squeeze into your jeans... But you're perfect to me." Harry continues to sing, "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth... But if it's true, it's you... It's you, they add up to... I'm in love with you... And all these little things."

Niall sings his famous solo, "You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you.... And you'll never treat yourself right darlin', but I want you to.... If I let you know, I'm here for you.... Maybe you'll love yourself like I..." "you sing," he says. "Love you, oh..." the fans sing. Harry sings once again, "And I've just let these little things slip out of my mouth... Cause it's you, oh, it's you... It's you, they add up to... And I'm in love with you. And all these little things."

The other boys join in to finish the song. "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth... But if it's true, it's you... It's you, they add up to... I'm in love with you..." And all your little things."
