The cliffs

A few days after the wolf and Bella situation, we've all been on our feet looking out for Victoria who they caught wind of while on patrol.

The only downside of all of this is that while the pack is hunting Victoria, Charlie and a group are hunting them, but Harry has been leading them away as best he can.

On another note Bella is just learning about Jacob and the tribe legends.

Anyway she's been acting strange just yesterday she asked if we could go hiking to the cliffs this time because she wanted us to see something so I'm a little concerned but going with her non the less. I sigh and look over to see it's ten thirty in the morning, I sit up rubbing my hands through my y/h/c hair. I get out of bed and get dressed.

I head downstairs to see Bella eating cereal and made a bowl of y/f/c for myself. After we finished eating we headed out together.

Once we reach the trail we She looks to me and says " Hey, Uh thanks for coming I wanted to do this by myself but maybe you'd try it with me." I look to her confused and go to ask her but stop seeing we've reached the top.

I smile "Wow, were really high up. I can't believe they jump from here." I say amazed and slightly terrified. " You mean Sam and his delinquents who messed up Jake." Bella asked still upset over what they did.

I want to defend them but that will only make her ask more questions so I just nod. She grabs my hand pulling me closer to the edge. "Bella stop we shouldn't get that close." I say nervous. "It's fine. Everyone else does it." I look at her concerned.

"I know this may seem crazy, I know but when I do something like this I see him Y/n, I see Edward. So if I talk it's to him." I look at her finally believing she's crazy when she says.

"You wanted me to be human, watch me." And she suddenly starts taking off her jacket.

"What are you doing!" I asked shocked putting the pieces together.

"Y/n jump with me, it's - it's for fun." She almost stutters.

" Are you crazy! We can get hurt jumping this high." She looks to me " I'm tired of being some fragile human and I know you feel that way too I can see it in your eyes, even when they were here, let's prove them wrong and just be free for once and be reckless." I understand where she's coming from after all I've been through these past months what she's saying isn't to crazy.

I look over the edge and see just how far the fall is then look to Bella and grab her hand. She smiles and we step closer.

My nerves are going crazy my heart racing quick than I've ever imagined. I think about this one last time and decide, why the hell not it could be fun.

I look at Bella who looks as conflicted as I do and she says " You won't stay with me any other way." And that's when I realized how stupid this was and would prove nothing so I go to step back.

I gasp as Bella jumps and I didn't notice our hands still firmly attached so I go down with her screaming.

I close my eyes to afraid of what I could see when suddenly I hit the ice cold water and immediately feel pain surround my body from hitting it so hard I had to have a bruise somewhere.

I lose my breath as the pain becomes worse and I try to swim to the surface.

I inhale deeply once I've reached the surface and look around for Bella and I see her not to far smiling from her experience, she's bigger she didn't feel the pain like i did.

She turns her head and sees me with a smile and says "I told you." I just give a fake laugh through the pain and shout "Your dead, when we get out!" I'm angry but can't blame her shes in pain and me falling to was an accident.

I look and suddenly see the waves get bigger and stronger. I gasp as the waves hit pushing me under, I swim hard to the surface and take another breathe to only be pushed down even harder.

I begin to lose my breathe and look to see an unconscious Bella floating not far I go to swim to hear when I feel a tug on my leg.

My eyes widen with fear and I would probably scream if my lungs weren't on fire already as I see the red head.

She just smirks evilly and pulls me down going towards Bella but before she could reach her she is pulled out.

I began choking running out of air and everything goes black as I see something grab me.

All I see is darkness and all I hear is small mumbles.

Everything starts getting clearer as they are now yells. "Y/n!" "Y/n come on wake up!" I suddenly am able to breathe releasing all the water from my body and gasp for air.

I'm pulled into someone's warm embrace. " Thank god. Your going to be okay just breathe." I open my eyes and see Jake with tears in his eyes and Bella next to him with tears as-well and a overjoyed face with relief.

Bella pulls me into a hug as my breathing becomes even and Jake is quick to pull me back and glare at her. She must have explained this was her fault.

I sit up carefully with his help and try to speak "Ja-Ja." "Ja-k." I stutter my voice croaking. "Hey hey it's okay don't talk." He says rubbing his hand threw my wet hair.

Suddenly someone else runs out way and quickly takes me from Jake. "Breathe okay we've got you." I instantly calm down and breathe better seeing Sams here to.

Jake is busy scolding Bella and asking what she was thinking. Sam quickly yells to him "Get them home. I've got to go help out over at at Harry's place." Jake nods and I quickly say "Why what's wrong." He looks at me not wanting to say anything.

"You can worry later you need to go rest."

"No, now tell me what happened!" I shout sensing this is bad by his face.

Jake sighs and says "Harry Clearwater has a heart attack. Charlie and my Dad are over at his place with his family." I immediately sit all the way up and feel tears in my eyes, he's like and uncle to me.

"Is he okay?" I ask shakily.

He looks to me sadly and says "He's gone." I let out a small sob, then immediately gasp in realization and say "Seth." I stand up and take off running much to the others surprise.

It was like the pain was not there and the only thing that matters was finding him.
