These feelings

"Sams lost the element of surprise and he doesn't want to take you on outnumbered. So he's not going to come at you head on. He's got the place surrounded and he'll wait for his opportunity."Jacob explained to us as were all gathered in the living room.

"They won't get through without a fight." Emmett says lowly.

We all turn to him as Carlisle says "Nobody fights. We won't be the ones to break the treaty."

"The treaty is void, at least in Sams mind." Jacob continues.

"Not in ours." Esme says calmly.

"Carlisle, nobodies hunted for weeks." Emmett says.

I take in a nervous breath considering I'm one of the ones who hasn't fed and I've never lost control before so I don't want it to happen now, Not At a time like this.

"We'll make due." Esme says tells him.

We all look down knowing this will not be easy for any of us.

Carlisle turns back to Jacob saying "You've don't us a great service Jacob, Thank you." He nods at Carlisle.

He then turns to Seth and Embry who came in with us. Leah would have too but she hates them the most and is only here for Seth, Embry he still hates them but wants to stay on our side for my sake, he's one of my best friends after all.

"And thank you Seth, Embry, for taking our side on this. It means a lot to us all."

Seth smiles saying "Of course, we're family." I smile at him as Embry just nods his head and then walks out the house to join Leah.

I sigh knowing this can't be easy for him. "I'll be right back." I say to everyone in the room following after Embry.

I follow his scent until I find him sitting on a big rock

"Hey." I say.

He turns to me with a light smile "Hey Y/n."

I sit next to him "How are you doing?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" He tells me.

"Oh come on you literally left the pack, your brothers for the people you hate the most in the world. You have to be feeling something." I tell him.

He sighs and then looks up "I may not be the biggest fan of them but you sure as hell are. I won't stand with Sam if he wants to do anything to hurt you, your too important to me." He says not looking at me.

I smile lightly "Thank you. It means more than you'll ever know to me." I say.

I go to walk away until he stops me "Wait!" I turn around.

"Yes?" He looks as if he's debating to continue and then stutters saying "I need to be honest to you and myself for once."

I nod and sit back down as he continues "I like you, like a lot and not as a friend. I always have and I know that your with Seth and it's time to move on but I just want you to know that nothing will ever stop me from loving and wanting you." He says looking to me.

I smile and take in a nervous breath "Embry, I love you too but I'm with Seth he is my mate and I'm his imprint after all."

"I know." He says sadly.

I take his hand in mine and say "But that never stopped me from caring about you. You will always be one of the people I love most in the world, nothing will ever change that."

He smiles and says "That's nice to hear, I just thought it was me being stupid caring about you when Seth already imprinted."

I chuckle and say "I love you okay and maybe not the way you want me to completely but your my best friend and I hope that's enough because I know that you'll find the girl your meant to be with, even if she's not me and you'll be happier than ever." I say hoping he's not angry.
