"I can't lose you!"

"Jane and Alec will try to take me out first because I can anticipate their moves." Edward tells us as we strategize.

"To bad we don't all have your shield." Garrett says.

I then think about what he just said and at that my eyes widen, but what if she could? I think to myself. "Doesn't help me fight though." Bella says.

"But you could help the rest of us. You can project it." Tanya says and I smile knowing I was right. "What do you mean?" Bella asks.

"I mean shield someone other than yourself." Tanya tells her.

"Is that possible." She asks curious.

"Yes powers can develop over time." Carlisle says.

"At first it was only in my plans now o can radiate it all over my body." Kate says.

"Same, though I still haven't exactly mastered the mind part." I say.

"How do you do it?" She asks us.

Kate lets out a sigh knowing this wasn't something easy to do.

"Tell me." Bella says with a smile practically begging her while squeezing her arm tightly.

"Ow." Kate says and Bella removes her hand.

We all head outside to show Bella.

"You need to visualize it." I start off "See how it moves, what color it is." Kate adds as I demonstrate with my gift as it moves from my fingers to my hand swirling around them.

"Now picture it expanding. Will it to go beyond you." Kate says as I make it move from my hands to surround my body than moving it towards Kate lifting her up slightly then back down as I make it go away.

"Thank you Y/n." She says with a smile for helping her.

I nod and watch as Bella now tries. "She stares of to one spot focusing hardly. You can see her pushing herself and then she stops letting out a annoyed breath.

We all sigh "I think she needs something to motivate her." Kate says looking to me and Edward.

I widen my eyes and Edward says "I can do it." I sigh and nod my head as Edward steps forward.

"No." Bella says.

"It's alright. I can take it." Edward tells her.

"He says that now." Garrett mumbles making me nervous.

"Focus Bella." I say.

"Yeah or he's gonna be hurting." Emmett adds.

"Edward I'm not ready to do this." Bella tried to say but Edward then holds his hand out and Kate touches it not giving Bella any time to do anything and he falls to the ground moaning in pain.

I gasp lightly. "I'm sorry! I said that I wasn't ready." She tells him feeling bad.

He looks up from the ground in pain "Dude your not motivating her." Emmett says.

"You wanna try." Edward says annoyed as Emmett hold his hands up defensively.

Bella than looks to them focus stronger than she did before as Kate touches him again and he cries out in pain making me cringe.

"Kate!" Bella exclaims So shell let him go.

"You seem to lack incentive. Should I go see if Renesmee's awake?" Kate asks turning slightly to the house.

At that I stepped forward mad she even suggested that and Bella was to "Are you crazy!" Bella yells lowly stepping closer to her.

"Fine but I think you need more at stake." She looks to me and I gulp lightly while Bella looks confused before saying angrily "No, no way. It's bad enough he has to do this not her too. And I'm sure if Seth was here and not on patrol he would rip you apart for that."
