The campsite

Today Bella and I dressed warm and headed out to the battle field to help as much as we could.

"Here." Bella told me.

"What?" I ask confused.

She had a needle in her hand and said " Our blood. It could help if we place it in different spots." I nodded.

"Okay, do it." I turned my head as she grabbed my hand poking my finger.

"Ouch." I say shutting my eyes tightly.

Bella then smiled as I looked at my now bleeding finger "See, were not completely useless." She said and I laughed.

We walked around the area for a bit and put our blood in different spots until we met up with Edward. "Going overboard." He told us looking at our fingers.

"If this is all we can contribute, we have to be thorough." I tell him and Bella nods.

He sighed grabbing Bella's finger with a smile "Newborns will be frantic." She pulled her hand away saying "It's okay don't make yourself uncomfortable." He shakes his head looking at her.

"It doesn't bother me anymore."

"Since when?" She asks.

"Since I spent twenty-four hours thinking you were dead." He told her.

At that I cringed remembering what we did to save him, including meet the Volturi. I was taken out of my thoughts as he said "Your not wearing your ring."

"Oh I don't want to lose it." She told him while I chuckle saying " Or risk Jacob seeing it." They both looked to me and Edward laughed lightly.

"Shes right, isn't she." Bella looked down and said.

" I'm just trying to find a way to tell him, like after the fight."

"If your having second thoughts.." She quickly cut him off "No no I don't." I sigh getting tired of listening and pull out my phone to text Seth while leaning against a tree.

"Hey. What are you up to" I send.

A few moments later he responds "Not much, I'm with the pack preparing for the fight. What are you doing, I've been non stopped worried." He texts.

I smile lightly and say "I'm fine. You don't need to worry I'm with Edward and Bella. I can't wait to see you after this is all over and we can do normal things for a while." I send.

"Me either. Speaking of normal I was wondering once this is all over how about we go on an actual date to eat and do something else fun." He said.

I smile and write "We've been on dates before you know."

"Yea, but that's little things like movies nights and walks. I want to do something special for you. Deal?"

I smile wider and send "Deal." And put my phone away.

I look up at see Edward holding in a laugh.

"Why are you so happy?" He asks already knowing.

"Oh shut up and stay out my head." I tell him with a laugh and he does to while Bella looks confused so I said "Be glad he can't get into your head, he'll know everything you do." I say with a laugh.

She smiles and says "He already does even without being in my head." All three of us laugh until Jake pops up.

"What's so funny." We stop and I turn to him with a wide smile.

"Hey Jake!" He smiles and gives me a big hug.

"Hey Y/n, we've been missing you with all this going on." He says.
