I stared at her body and the huge stack on wood she sat atop of. "Lucy." I heard Murphy say and I turned to look over at him. He didn't say anything for a moment. I watched as a tear ran down his face. I slowly shuffled my feet, before I stared back up at her body. "I'm sorry." Murphy said as I kept my eyes on the would be fire. Doc looked over at Murphy before over at me. I lowered my head, to the silentes. "We all loved you, Lucy. From the moment you clawed your way into this world, we knew you were special. As you wove your way in and out of our journey in this big ole world of hurt and darkness, you were the bright spot." Doc said and I looked up again. "Freaky little blue bright spot." Doc added and I smiled.

"And in your short time here, you damn near saved the world. So as another doctor once said, 'Let's not cry because she's gone. But let us smile cuz she was here." Doc finished. I stood there as Tommy lit the flare. He throw it and the whole pile lit a flame. I kept my eyes on the fire as I heard everyone else walking off. I slowly turned to see Murphy standing there as Warren tried to pull him away. He turned his body away from her and she slowly walked off. Murphy kept standing there and I slowly walked over to him. "Come on." I said, lightly touching his shoulder. He stared down at me, before looking back at the fire. I turned back to see a few Z's coming. I slowly wrapped my arm around his and he turned to face me. "Come on." I said lightly and he started to walk back to the group with me.

We slowly walked back to the truck as the group looked back at us. I looked around and their stares. "Are we ready to go?" I calmly asked them. "Quit staring, I'm not the elephant man." Murphy said loudly to them. They all looked down and away. "You really have to use that voice of your." Murphy said, before walking away from me. I sighed and looked back at the group. "You ok?" I turned to face Tommy. "I'm fine." I said, walking away from him. I hopped into the back and we drove off.

I sat there as it turned to night and we stop. I turned to face a house and I locked eyes with Warren. She just shrugged at me and I hopped out of the truck. I bangged on the window and Sarge looked down at me. "We need supplies and we could do with a good night's sleep." She said to me and I grabbed the door. "You really think he wanted to sleep?" I whispered as I leaned into the driver side. "We do need the supplies and some of us need sleep." Tommy said and I looked over at him. His eyes locked onto me and I stared back at him. "Oh I know what you're implying." I said to him and I watched as he sighed. "Jean." He started. "I'm going to check out the house." I said to them. I started to walk over to the house. "Jean, you can't just do that yourself." I heard Sarge yell out to me. "Jean, it's a huge house." I heard Tommy yell out. I turned to face them and focused a smile. "You forget, Zs love me." I said back, walking backwards.

~~Tommy~~

"She's been in there for a while. She could use some backup." Sarge said and I looked down at her. "We shouldn't just be standing here and waiting." Warren said, her eyes still on the house. "We're out here in the elements. I'm going in and taking my changes in the house." Murphy said and I looked over at him. "Murphy." Warren yelled and the door to the house open and there stood Jean. She almost stumbled out of the house and looked up at us. "House it clear." She said, before walking back into the house. "Something off with that kid." Doc said and I turned to face him. "She took on who knows how many Zs." Sarge said and Doc looked at her. "I think she's having a party without us." Doc said and I stared at him. "You saying she drinking without us? Are you saying she's got alcohol and she's not sharing with me?" Murphy said, before walking into the house. "Murphy." Doc yelled after him, but he was gone.

~~Jean~~

Sitting there on the back patio, one leg over the railing, watching the world go by. I heard the door open and I looked up to see Murphy standing there. His eyes looked around and then down. "You going to share with the class?" Murphy asked and I handing it up to him. "I can't drink it." I muttered, before he took a few large sips. "You not old enough." he said back down to me. "I'm older than you think." I said back up to Murphy. He slowly handed it back and I stared down at it. I kept my eyes on it and sighed. I quickly throw it out in the open. I heard the glass shatter and I turned back to Murphy. "You just had to finish it huh?" I asked him. Murphy just shrugged and walked back into the house. With that I turned back to the night sky. I heard the door open again, but I kept my eyes on the sky. I heard who ever it was sit on the railing with me and I turned to face them. "Where is it?" Sarge asked me and I stared. "Murphy looking for more." She added and I sighed. "There is no more." I told her and she kept her eyes on me.
