Look At Us Now:
There is a nostalgia for the things that help us grow.
There is a bitter sweet drop of innocence lost and youthfulness gained
There is a reminiscence for the days that were and the days that remain.
There is a nostalgia in me for you and for us.
For things grown from my touch.
If you squint and you tilt your head,
If you look a little longer in the silence
And the smile I bare
If you crack open my chest and gaze at the innards
All yellow and black
You will find yourself.
A child now grown,
A child found home.
There is a nostalgia for things that help us grow.
And you I believe wanted me to grow the most.
Look at us now.
