The Divine
God, humans are such simply complex creatures that orbit one another
Pulling at skin like cloaks that cover souls
Always pulling at something until eventually it smothers
And new life is born, new live's become old
We're such fascinatingly misunderstood understandings
Always gripping to the answers but just out of reach
Revelling in the glorious creations made of mans findings
Always finding questions in the statements we speak.
God, humans are such simply complex creatures praying for things we already have
Always making difficulty out of the curiosities, how sad
It is to think we have all the answers under our fingertips
But still refuse to acknowledge how we know one another anyway
How each and every one of us is just a makeup of fragmented soul-bits
But then again, I am just a human, how am I to say
Any of us truly understand the divine?
All I think is that we humans understand one another more than we let on.
