"What the hell are you doing with my girl?!" You turn around sharply and see a furious Thomas. "What are you talking about, Tom? Newt and I were just talking!" Thomas scoffs. "Shank, we were just talking. Nothing else," Newt says. Thomas glares at Newt until he starts backing away, running to the Homestead. "(Y/N). Why are you...are y-you cheating on me?" Thomas' voice quivers and his chin trembles slightly. He looks so sad, like a kicked puppy. You groan and walk over to him. "Thomas, I would never cheat on you. I love you. You know that. Newt is my friend. And I work with him in the fields. Thomas, I would never hurt you like that." You lean over and wrap your arms around him gently. "I'm sorry," he mutters quietly into your ear. "Hey, it's okay." You feel something wet land on your shoulder and you look at him, shocked. He's crying. "Thomas? Are you...ummm, are you okay?" He looks at you, "I never want to lose you, (Y/N). Please." You wipe his tears away with your thumb and cup his cheek. You place your lips gently on his and he stops crying a few minutes later. "I love you, (Y/N)." "I love you too, Tommy."
