The group had finished packing up and there were only a few stranglers left.

The videos of the cast singing were already up everywhere on the Internet. Finn let Millie update his account with their version of The Moon Song—"it's too good not to!" the overly-enthusiastic girl had argued—and it was getting a lot of comments. Finn ignored them, then decided to just turn them off completely.

He walked over to Declan who was engaged in some active conversation with Shawn, Charlie, and Cameron, her face lit up and her hands moving around lively. She used her hands a lot when she spoke or sang or even acted. The smallest tap of her finger or flick of her wrist make her character that much more scene stealing. Made her that much more interesting when they translated to real life.

After a moment of absent minded hovering and observing her, Cam nudged Declan and nodded towards the dazed boy. She silently thanked him before bending down, picking up a small rock, and throwing it at him.

"Ow! Shit Declan!" Finn startled.

Cam clamped a hand over his mouth to stop from laughing and Charlie and Shawn turned to them in confusion.

Declan shrugged.

"I told you staring was rude" She stared simply.

"Ha ha very clever" Finn sneered at her, and was glad for the lack of light that hid his blush.

"See you guys tomorrow" Declan waved as the three guys left the two teenagers alone.

Cam clapped a hand on Finn's back and winked at him, which Finn replied to with an eye roll.

"What do you need Wolfhard?" Declan smiled at him.

"You're smiling?" Finn smirked as he approached her.

"I am" She rolled her eyes, "I had a good night"

"You sounded amazing" Finn complimented, the smile on his face widening.

"As did you" She replied, nodding curtly. There was something about her in that dim, orange roof lightning, soft highlight in the dark. She was radiating this odd sense of warmth.

Warm. It was something she had never really been. Respectful? Talented? Humble? Funny? Absolutely. Warm? Inviting? Social? Not so much. But in this moment she seemed to have this glow about her, and Finn was enamored with it.

"Yeah but you... I don't know" Finn shook his head as he stood in front of her, close, less than a foot away. "You were mesmerizing, really"

Declan broke the moment by laughing.

"Oh you smooth mother fucker! You really know how to make a girl feel special, huh? Is that what you tell them all? That they're mesmerizing?" She teased him as she started walking past him. He rolled his eyes as he spun around and hurried to keep up with her as they walked across the nearly empty roof.

"You're just jealous" He grinned.

"I heard your social media excursion went well" She changed subjects as they waved goodnight to Natalia, Joe, Charlie, Cam, and Dove.

"Night you two!" Cam teased and Declan simply held a middle finger over her head at him.

"It did" Finn chuckled, "They love you. As they should"

"We'll see" She scrunched her face up and Finn smirked. He liked when she did that.

"Stop" She glared at him.

"Stop what?!" Finn laughed.

"FINN, STARING IS RUDEEEE!!!" She screamed and shoved him.

He stumbled and Declan had to catch him. They both looked at each other, holding one another for a moment, before Declan shook her head and laughed, standing the boy up.
