The Panel

As the cast was waiting backstage to enter their panel, they were all chattering excitedly: talking about the crowd and their outfits and what they wanted to say and whatever else they could think of.

Declan, however, was hanging back, biting her nails and not contributing to the conversation. The stranger things cast was amazing, but they were easily swept up sometimes, something Finn knew all too well. He walked back to her, and because everyone else was busy, put his arms around her and hugged her tightly. She hugged him back.

"You're gonna be just fine" Finn smiled reassuringly at her, placing his hands on either side of her face. "They're gonna love you"

"So everyone keeps saying" Declan replied.

"Because it's true" Finn raised an eyebrow at her.

She sighed and hugged him again, arms around his waist and head against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her and held her there until names started being called. He was after Millie. They called her name, the two let go, Finn quickly kissed her, and then ran out on stage.

Declan was right after Maya, who she had actually gotten along quite well with. They talked until each of their names were called and they went out on stage. Declan was slightly surprised at how much people cheered when she came on. No one had even seen her on the show? But they were there and they were excited. As she made her way across, Declan noticed that her seat had been moved. Finn grabbed her arm as she passed, and she stopped abruptly and took a few steps back; the crowd chuckled.

"You're right here" Finn smiled coyly up at her.

"The hell?" She mumbled, "Shit!" she covered her mouth as the crowd, the cast, and the announcer started laughing.

"Sorry!" She hissed into the microphone as Finn looked at her and squeezed her hand.

When the panel lead started talking she ducked down and leaned towards him.

"Thank you" She smiled. It made her much less anxious knowing Finn was next to her.

"No problem" Finn grinned, still holding her hand under the table, resting on her leg, he traced patterns on the back of her hand with his thumb.

"So! Let's hand off the questions to the crowd!" The lead smiled and we all turned to the sea of people. Declan hadn't realized how many there truly were.

A sly girl with blue hair took the microphone.

"Oh my gosh! This is so exciting! I love you guys so much! Noah, you're my icon! Anyways!" She rambled excitedly, "What is the most exciting surprise about season 4? Or like! What you're most excited for people to see?" She grinned and handed the microphone back.

After a quick glance, Millie took the lead.

"I for one, am super excited for you all to see how the characters have developed over their time apart and how their relationships have changed and evolved. I think it's gonna be something that really adds to the new season" She smiled and looked down to the rest of the cast.

"I mean the set and special effects for this season are even more insane than the last season, so I know I'm super excited for you all to see the crazy new places and visuals and characters this season" Charlie pitched in.

"Yeah there are some amazinggggg scenes, the Duffers are true geniuses in their line of work" Maya nodded in agreement.

"Speaking of characters," Sadie smiled, "I know were all super psyched for you guys to see Declan in this season. She is absolutely killer, you guys won't even believe!"
