The next morning the kids woke up all over the place. Cam was the first to get up, as always. He decided to leave the trailer and brew a pot of coffee for the kids in Declan's trailer. He didn't really need to be seen sleeping with a bunch of underage kids, not that it was like that, but people would say the craziest things.

Declan was next to rise and when she noticed Cam's absence, she decided to go out looking for him, unknowingly waking Finn as she left.

Finn yawned and rubbed his eyes before wrapping a blanket around himself and following her out too.

Declan wandered around set, Finn trailing behind her until he finally called her name.

"Declan?"

She turned around, a frown on her face that turned into a surprised frown upon seeing him.

"Finn?"

"What are you doing up?" He asked as he caught up to her.

"I was looking for Cam, but now I'm trying to see if the power is back or not" She frowned.

Her hair was extremely messy and she looked small in her oversized shirt.

"You cold?" He asked her, offering the blanket.

"Not really" She shrugged.

"Really?" He frowned, noticing his own shivering and her lack of shoes.

"Really" She sighed and then began walking again, this time side-by-side.

They mutually seemed to have decided not to speak, not pushing anything as they wandered around the set until they suddenly bumped into someone.

"Oh! Sorry!" Finn mumbled, the sleep still in his eyes a little.

"Oh hey! I was just coming to find you guys" Shawn Levy said.

"What's up?" Finn yawned.

"Well bad news is that the power is still out, and it probably will be till the end of the week, which is gonna push filming and everything back by quite a bit. Normally, I would let you guys go home, but they say it's terrible out there and the city is in chaos" Declan and Finn shared a concerned glance, "So we think it's safest for you guys to just stick around here for the time being" He explained. The two kids nodded.

"Sounds reasonable" Declan said.

"How are you all doing?" Shawn softened and asked.

"We're okay" Finn replied.

"You guys are lucky Declan came to save you. Save all of us, actually. I heard the show in the next studio didn't get out until about an hour ago" Shawn shook his head.

"Be careful with your praise or I'll take it all back" Declan warned, crossing her arms over her chest and looking far to her left, away from them.

"It was all luck then. Not by any force of Declan whatsoever" Shawn teased.

"Lucky indeed" Finn looked over to Declan who was frowning slightly. He found it odd she didn't really smile like everyone else, like most people. She seemed constantly put off; constantly guarded and uncertain, like the ground could give way and try swallowing her at any moment. She was always on edge.

"You could try smiling?" He offered, teasing her some more.

Declan rolled her eyes and shoved him, making both him and Shawn laugh too. She simply huffed in response.

"Alright, I trust you'll pass on the message to the others?" Shawn asked after a moment.

"Of course" Declan nodded.
