Rhys' POV
As I went back to the house, I saw my two cousins and my sister having a fun talk at the garden.
"Hi kuya!" Francine greeted me while Ashley shyly waved.
I smiled and turn my back to enter to house but Andrea stopped me.
"Wait kuya. I just want to thank you sa pagsagip mo sakin last night. The best ka talaga." She beamed.
"Anything for my little sister." I replied and patted her head.
"Little?!"
"Little or short? Choose." I teased her with her height again.
"I knew it. Di ka parin nagbabago. I thought you were a changed man na after you finally broke up with that lunatic woman." She rolled her eyes ranting. I just shrugged at her and turned away but she interrupted me again.
"Teka lang. I want to ask something pa. Don't you think it's kind of weird na may nahulog na vase sa green house kagabi? Eh never naman natin binubukas ang windows doon eh. Ang creepy lang isipin. Ayoko na tuloy umakyat ng third floor." Andrea has a point and that's what I'm trying to find out what and who is the reason behind the incident.
"What? Wala ka talagang comment, kuya? Samantalang it was so unusual for you na magreact ka ng ganun kagabi." She smirked.
"Bawal maging concern?"
"Concern at the situation or at the person?" She pretended to think by touching her chin. I gave her a warning glare.
"I'm just kidding. Geez, kuya." She sighed. "Pero buti nalang nandoon ang kuya ni Ashy to save our step sister. He said pa nga na may nahulog daw na vase sa green house at the third floor kaya--"
"He said that?" I cut her off.
"Yeah. I'm curious though na ang bilis ng reflexes niya. Paano niya kaya nakita 'yon? Medyo madilim pa naman sa labas."
"I need to go, Blythe. Enjoy your tea time girls." I said and go straight to my car.
How did he know that there's a green house at the third floor? And the way he said that was too specific. If they're outside and from afar, they can't tell that it's a green house and as a visitor into a house that he isn't familiar of, was just impossible to know about it cause it's hidden and locked.
I dialed Argel's number and called him. "Hire a private investigator." I commanded.
"Para kanino?"
"A full background check of Uncle Eugene's Family." I answered.
"Right now?"
"Let the PI meet me at my condo at 7:00 PM later. Make sure to lure all the pawns of Chairman."
"Copy." He replied and hang up.
While I'm driving to my condominium, my mood lightens when I received a text message from Kaori.
Messages from Dumb Dumb:
