After Kaori packed her bags, she goes to the kitchen to see her Mom cooking while Rhys is helping her preparing the table.
"Pssst... ang bait mo ata ngayon ah. Nagpapalakas ka kay Mama?" Kaori whispered to him with narrowed eyes.
Hindi naman to pinansin ng binata at nagpatuloy lang sa paglapag ng mga baso sa lamesa.
Ang sungit. Di man lang ako pinansin. Di ba niya ako namiss? Bahala ka diyan di rin kita papansinin. Kaori thought. She just furrowed her brows and pouted her lips as she takes a seat.
"Magdinner muna tayo dito bago lumabas. Rhys, huwag kang mahiya ah. Mabuti nalang at nandito si Rhys para sunduin ka." Her Mother beamed as she puts soup at Rhys' bowl.
"Thank you Tita." Said Rhys and took a sip.
His face brightened up after he tasted it. It felt nostalgic. Maybe because all Mothers' cook are all have familiar taste. Warm and cozy.
It's just like Mom's. Rhys thought about his Mother as he smiled a bit from a memory.
"Oh dahan dahan lang anak. Baka mabulunan ka." Kaori's Mom commented while she patted his arm.
"Ma, ako 'yung anak mo." Kaori muttered with narrowed eyes. Rhys just chuckled with Kaori's behavior.
"Ikaw talaga, napakaselosa mo. Syempre aasikasuhin ko si Rhys bilang magiging anak ko narin siya. Kaya dapat maging mabait ka sa magiging kuya mo." Her Mom said to her while going to the kitchen to get more rice.
"Pff... kuya." Kaori scoffed.
"Yes baby...sister?" Rhys smirked, she just rolled her eyes trying to not fluster.
Kaori's Mom have no idea what's going on between this brother-sister relationship.
Rhys eating with gusto was such a mood. While Kaori on the other hand doesn't have enough appetite to finish her food.
Maybe her PMS is kicking her system that's why she's too moody today.
Pagkatapos nilang kumain, umalis na silang bahay para umuwi na sa Mansion ng mga Eugenio. Habang ang Ina naman ni Kaori ay dumeretso na ng hospital.
Great, now what's on her mind now? Rhys thought while driving. Kaori can't stop frowning and scowling. He even caught her narrowing her eyes at him.
"Okay, what's your problem?" He finally asked her.
"Wala." She bluntly replied.
"Yeah like I would believe that."
"Ehdi wag." She scowled.
Rhys then stopped the car before they reached the gates of the mansion. "Galit ka ba sa akin?" He asked.
"Tatlong araw na hindi ka man lang nagpakita at nagparamdam sa'kin? Hindi. Hindi talaga!" She sarcastically said with furrowed brows and pouted lips.
She even looked cute when she's angry. He thought grinning.
"You want some ice cream?" He offered.
