"I'll be back in a bit. Don't miss me too much or you might give me another hickey again." Rhys smirked and closed the door.

He left Kaori speechless and stunned. "Ano daw?!" Kaori exclaimed and the flashback in the back of her mind started to unfold.

"Pssssstt! Woi... Rhys, isusi mo nga ako."

"Rhyyyys... Isusi mo nga ako."

"Ayaw mo talaga? Tatanungin kita ulit. Isususi mo ba ako o hindi?"

The susi thing... The kiss... The bite... The hickey.

Syeeeet! Ang bobo mo Kaoriiii! Nakakahiya kaaa! Kahit kailan talaga! Kaori horridly flipped over when her memory triggered and got flustered with her now crimson red face.

Meanwhile, after Rhys told the maid to prepare some soup and medicine for Kaori, he saw Alger from afar, approaching him.

Rhys grin immediately disappeared and changed it into a serious phase.

"The private investigator updated me." Alger stated.

Rhys just put his hands inside his pockets and gave a nod sign to Alger to continue.

"The PI (Private Investigator) said that Mrs. Sarah Delmundo sold their house in Australia, sold some of their businesses overseas and wanted to stay here for good with her children. Pero ang nakakapagtaka doon, minamanman niya si Andre. The PI send some of the hotel records that Mrs. Delmundo is also there where Andre stays in every hotel during his business trip. So it is confirmed that she's allegedly on the move and has a motive." Alger explained.

Rhys furrowed his eyebrows as he's thinking harder why his Aunt Sarah leading on his brother.

"Do you think Andre and Sarah is on alliance?" Rhys asked.

Alger shook his head. " There was no sign of them interacting, not even crossing their paths." Alger answered.

"How about her son Vincent?" Rhys asked and couldn't help but clenched his fist when he remembered what Vince did earlier.

"Well based on my observation, he's clean. Although he's always there with Kaori. He's also working at the café where Kaori's working." Alger noticed Rhys clenching his jaw after what he said.

"I-I'm sorry kung ngayon lang nasabi. A-Akala ko--"

"Since when?" Rhys cut him mid sentence and directly asked him.

"It's been three weeks now. He fill in Kaori's slot for her absences para di matanggal sa trabaho si Kaori." Alger lowly answered.

"Keep an eye on him." Rhys said by finishing their discussion and went upstairs.

Maybe Vince was right. I should've been paying attention to Kaori more. Rhys heaved out a huge sigh when he opened the door of his room to get changed.

When he was about to open his closet, his sight doubled and his vision got blurry. He abruptly placed his palm onto the half of his face as he struggled to hang on to something steady, like a wall. His head hurts so bad he stumbled down and tried to support his entire body on the deck of his bed.
