Kaori and her newly found acquaintance named Lance are now heading to the basketball gym.

"Tulungan na kita diyan sa dala mo, yan nalang din ang kapalit ng pagtulong mo na samahan ako sa gym." Lance said, offering a hand to Kaori.

"Sige." Kaori casually replied and handed the big paper bag of chips to him.

"Ah, Kaori."

"Oh?" Kaori uttered while pulling out her phone in her pocket.

"Student ka ba dito?" Lance started to ask her questions.

Kaori just nodded in response while dialing Jelay's number but unfortunately, her best friend's not answering the call.

"Ah okay. Well, I kind of want to have little tour dito after our game mamaya." Lance said.

"Ah so basketball player ka pala. Anong team ka?" Kaori asked.

"Yeah, I'm the ace player of Blue Eagles." Lance vigorously answered Kaori's question, thinking she might be interested in him as well.

"Ah so kayo ang makakalaban ng team namin mamaya. Good luck kung ganoon." Kaori bluntly said.

"Thank you, Kaori. Cheer for me ah."

"Bakit naman kita ichicheer? Eh kalaban nga kayo." Kaori raised her eyebrows. "Galingan niyo nalang kasi magagaling players namin, lalo na si Eugenio." Kaori proudly said Rhys' surname like she's promoting his career like a manager.

"Well, gagalingan ko talaga for you. Para mapansin mo ko sa court. And cheer for me at least? Kasi nga friends na tayo diba?" Lance said and winked. He didn't lose hope and still initiating to flirt Kaori.

"Kung mapapansin kita sa court." Kaori shrugged and speak to the person at the side of the line when Jelay finally answered Kaori's call.

"Hoy babaita! Asan ka na?" Jelay asked at the other line.

"Nandito sa gym. Tapos ka na ba?" Tanong ni Kaori.

"Oo. Nandito ako sa labas ng CR tapos wala akong nakikitang Kaori sa canteen. Bakit ka ba nandiyan?"

"May ginawa lang. Basta hintayin mo ko diyan. Sige na." Kaori replied and ended the call.

Pagbaba ng pagbaba ng tawag ni Kaori, may sinabi si Lance na nagpakunot ng kilay ni Kaori.

"Can I ask your number?" Lance asked.

"Huh? Ayoko nga. Mamaya serial killer ka pala o rapist." Kaori muttered.

"Grabe ka naman sa mga assumption mo about sa akin. Mukha ba akong masamang tao sa'yo?" Lance pouted.

"Hindi naman ako judgmental through their looks. Ang akin lang, I don't give personal information to the person I just met." Kaori directly answered making Lance even more challenged and driven.

"Fair enough." He agreed and nodded. "How about this, if I win on the basketball game later, you will tour me here in your campus ground so we can get to know each other better." Lance made bargain.

"And what makes you think na papayag akong makipagdeal with a stranger?" Kaori raised an eyebrows with crossed arms.

"Well you already knew my name. So..." Lance shrugged.

"That could be fake." Kaori shrugged back trying to make her point.

Lance snickered and got intrigued by Kaori's personality.

When they arrived at the basketball gym, Lance suddenly unzipped his bag and get his school ID out.

"Here. Isauli mo yan sakin after the game. Then we'll talk about the deal pagkatapos akong manalo sa game." Lance said and smirked while giving his ID to Kaori and the paper bag full of chips.
