"Achilles Saycon." Said Clout. They all seemed shocked to heard the familiar name.
Rhys closed his eyes, trying to contain his anger towards the old friend but failed miserably. He stood up and was about to lose his shit.
"Rhys, saan ka pupunta?" Gian asked in a worried tone.
"Rhys don't do it." Aljon tried to stop him by grabbing Rhys' arm. But he pushed it away.
As he was going to open the door to leave the place, Kaori climbed out to her bed, run to Rhys and grasped his white coat from the back. "Please huwag ka ng umalis." Kaori said, her voice broke.
When he felt Kaori's remorse, Rhys stopped from his tracks. He let go of the doorknob and turned around to see her.
He saw Kaori's looking down with watery eyes and shaky lips, restraining herself not to cry. Rhys took a deep breath and in an instant his temper is cooling down.
"I'm sorry. I'm not going anywhere." He said in a soft voice.
Kaori looked up to meet his gaze. "You promise?"
"I promise." Rhys replied with a grin. "Now go back to bed. You mustn't stress yourself." Rhys said and held Kaori's shoulders to help her getting back to bed.
"Let's continue this tomorrow at the headquarters. Kaori needs some rest." Rhys informed the others so they picked up their belongings and bids goodbye to Kaori.
"Dito ka lang ah. Huwag kang aalis at magpupunta kung saan saan." Kaori said to Rhys.
"Yes yes, I already promised. Now close your eyes and go to sleep." Rhys replied while fixing Kaori's pillow and move the blanket to cover her properly.
He stayed beside Kaori until she falls asleep. Mabuti nalang at napigilan ni Kaori si Rhys kanina. Kung hindi, di niya alam kung anong magagawa niya kay Achilles.
Kung sakali ding susugod siya doon dahil lang sa galit niya at hindi pinagisipan ito ng maige, baka lalo maging malala ang sitwasyon at mas lalong mapahamak si Kaori.
Ngayon, ang alam lang nilang pwedeng pagsuspetsahan ay si Achilles. Pero di yun sapat na ebidensiya para akusahan na siya ang may gawa. Kung siya man, kailangan parin nilang manigurado at magkaroon ng solidong ebidensiya laban sa kanya.
Rhys closed his eyes and think deeper. If they submit the footage to the authorities, they still don't have the ability to identify the culprit. And the more they will expose it, the less probability to catch the person behind it. He needs to move carefully. Every move and every plan have to be smooth and affirmative.
Rhys finally opened his eyes and check up on Kaori if she's already have fallen asleep.
When he saw her sleeping soundly, he couldn't help but blame himself for what happened to Kaori.
