The weekend came and Kaori prepared to go to her part time job at the café. She needs to overtime cause of the absences she made for the past two weeks.

This is also the best way to forget her problems at School and to think less about Rhys.

"Good Morning, frenny!"

"Good Morning." Kaori greeted back with a bright smile on her face.

"Kamusta na ulo mo? Okay kana ba? Pasensiya na ah. Hindi ako nakadalaw sa'yo sa ospital." Lie stated.

"Good lang 'yun, ano ka ba? Atsaka okay naman na ako." Kaori replied while prepping the ingredients.

"Alam mo ba may bago tayong ka-workmate. Ang pogi!" Lie squealed.

"Pagdating talaga sa gwapo, first in line ka talaga no?" Kaori shook her head and chuckled.

"Siya yung replacement mo since wala ka. Pero hindi na tinanggal ni bossing kasi nga maraming pumupunta dito na mga high schooler tuwing hapon pag siya na ang nagseserve." Lie said while putting the chair down from the table.

"Ah chick magnet." Kaori commented.

As the front door opened, Lie frantically patted Kaori. "Ayan na siya! Ayan na siya!"

Paglingon ni Kaori sa may pintuan, nakit niya si Vince papasok ng café.

"Siya yung sinasabi mo?" Kaori asked and raised an eyebrow.

Lie hummed in response while giddily checking out Vince's pretty face in the morning.

"Good Morning, Kaori." Lie was taken aback when Vince greeted Kaori instead of her.

"Hmm... Good Morning. Ikaw pala yung tinutukoy ni Lie na bagong employee dito." Kaori replied to Vince.

Vince smiled and nodded in response.

"Magkakilala kayo?" Lie chimed in the conversation.

"Schoolmate ko siya." Kaori answered.

"I heard that you had a bad day yesterday. Are you okay now?" Vince asked Kaori in concerned tone.

Kaori hummed in response. "Okay lang ako. Wag kana mag-alala."

"Good to hear. Starting today, let's work together?" Vince smiled, trying to cheer up Kaori.

Kaori gave a bright smile to Vince while wearing her apron. She's doing fine, she should be.

Kaori's weekend went normal and she's doing fine with it by working overtime with Vince. It's a good thing for her to stop thinking about the issues at School. She was fed up about it and taking a break with all the dramas will refrained her from losing her mind.

But she's not ignoring the fact that during the weekend, she didn't get to see Rhys, not even his shadow. It frustrates her a bit, thinking what Rhys is doing and how she misses him so much.

But she can't also deny the fact that seeing Rhys was making her situation worse.

Ginusto mo to Kaori. Tigilan mo ang pagiinarte mo diyan. Di bagay sa'yo! Kaori scolded herself through her thoughts while doing her homework in her room.

It's already quarter to eleven but she's not done yet with problem number three on her homework at Pre-calculus.

She kept on messing up cause her focus is on the other ends of the parallel universe where Rhys and her were happily together.
