Intro

This is Berk.
It's not much, but it's home. It's been a hard 2 years. My name is Hiccup and it's been a year since Drago had come to my village. It's also been a year since my father has died, my mother was found, toothless has become alpha, and I have become chief of Berk. I have to say, I have not done that bad of a job keeping Berk 'alive' if you say. I am now 21 years old, chief of Berk, and I have an amazing fiancé. Yes I am now engaged to Astrid Hofferson. I 'proposed' to her 9 months after the whole Drago thing . Now when I say proposed I don't really mean 'get down on one knee and give her a ring' propose. More like, both sitting down talking about our future and just asking her if she would marry me. I know it's not much, but it was very romantic and special at the time. My mother has moved into my house and is staying in my dads/her room now. It's nice to have my mother, but I just feel like I can only have one parent with me. I have been doing my chief duties, well getting situated with my chief duties for the past year and I am finally getting everything sorted out and on schedule with things.
