The next morning, Hyuck woke to his alarm going off on his bedside table. He turned the alarm off and started sitting up. While doing so, he remembered what had happened the previous evening.
He flopped back into his bed the second the room started spinning. A few seconds later he was running to the bathroom, making it just in time.
Mark, who was already awake and sat in the lounge on the couch, watched the whole thing. He heard the whole thing.
A few minutes later, Hyuck slumped out of the bathroom, flopping down on the sofa next to the older boy. He was looking ROUGH today.
"How are you feeling?" Mark asked with a small sympathetic smile.
"It feels like the room is spinning, like there is a concert going on in my head but all I can hear is the base. I am freezing but my body temperature is through the roof. So, all in all, I'd say I'm doing fine" Hyuck spoke, falling further into the couch, resting his head on an arm and curled up in a ball with his arms wrapped around his body.
"right, go to bed, I have an idea" Mark instructed before helping the younger from his place.
The older helped Hyuck climb into bed, tucking him under the covers. He then walked out of the room, leaving Hyuck confused and alone.
A few minutes later, Mark walked back into the room with a tray filled with items.
"Okay, so I bought you~; cold medicine, soup, tea, orange juice, toast and a DS that I spotted in your coffee table and thought you might want" Mark smiled as he pointed to each of the items, proud of himself for using his initiative.
"thank--you" Hyuck replied, coughing between words.
"don't worry about it. I'm here all day so if you need anything just call yeah" Mark smiled before turning to walk away. He only managed one step before a small voice called him back.
"MARK... Don't leave me. I mean... I don't want to get you ill as well but I don't want to be alone" Hyuck explained, looking down and fiddling with his fingers. He could feel small tears in his eyes meaning he was officially ill. How could he tell? Well, he was quite the over-sensitive little bean when he was ill.
"Okay, give me two seconds. I'll be back" Mark insured before walking out of the room.
In the two minutes, the boy was gone, Hyuck could feel every negative thought he had ever had in his mind flood in together.
When Mark walked in, he was instantly concerned. Sat in the bed was the little sunshine boy with tears staining his bright red cheeks.
"Hey... What's wrong?" Mark asked as he walked over and scooted onto the bed next to the younger boy who only responded boy throwing his head into Mark's shoulder. Mark wrapped his arms around the younger and held him tightly as the boy cried.
After a short period of time, Hyuck quickly snapped out of what he was doing. He quickly pulled out of the hug and pushed the older, causing him to fall onto the floor beside the bed.
"wha-?!" Mark asked, his but aching and Hyuck looking all shy and cute above him.
"I don't want to get you ill. If I do, who will look after me?" Hyuck exclaimed with a small apologetic smile.
"Okay, but if I sit on the beanbag will you tell me why you were crying?" Mark asked. Hyuck nodded slowly and so Mark took a seat right next to the bed.
Hyuck laid down and his face was now the same height as Mark's. Hyuck laid on his side so he was looking into Marks chocolate brown eyes. They contained the same warmth as a hot chocolate on a winter morning.
Mark watched as the younger relaxed into the situation and thought for a moment before he started to explain how he always becomes extra vulnerable and sensitive whenever he is ill. He explained how easily certain thoughts slip into his mind.
Mark listened to each of Hyuck's words. He could relate to so much of it. Often he would be sat doing homework and all of a sudden a thought would appear and he would instantly be off for the rest of the evening, stuck thinking about certain things.
As the smaller talked, Mark placed a hand on his cheek, brushing the hair that was stuck to the tears behind his ear. Hyuck didn't really react to the touch. It felt comforting. Like it was letting him know that there was someone there for him.
Hyuck talked and talked. He had been talking for two hours straight by the time he had talked himself to sleep. The whole time Mark hadn't said a word. He just listened.
But how much he wanted to speak.
How much he wanted to tell the boy that he was there for him.
How much he was thinking about Jaemin.
How much he wanted to ask the boy.
But he couldn't.
He didn't want to.
He didn't want to hurt the boy who was already in pain.
Mark decided to spend the time that Hyuck was asleep, catching up on some of his school work.
However, he couldn't think straight at all while doing it. All he could think about was Renjun serious tone when he said they needed to talk. It was almost like when your girlfriend asks if you can talk and you can't help thinking you're going to break up.

For the rest of the day, Mark looked after Hyuck, who's condition hadn't gotten much better. Mark made sure he stayed in bed and was constantly checking if he was feeling okay or needed anything.
As night fell over the city, Mark ended up spending another night at the boy's house, agreeing to stay and look after him until he got better.
Even if it meant he had to sleep on the couch that was hella uncomfortable, he was willing to do it to make sure that Hyuck got better.
It might also have something to do with what Jaemin said about killing him if he didn't.
But that was only a small reason behind his decision.

As the next day passed by, there was some progress in the youngers health. He could now stand and walk around without needing to vomit.
Mark had managed to convince Hyuck to take a nap while he went out. He obviously didn't tell him where but he did promise to get him a gift.
Mark left the house. Going out into the cold winter that lingered as autumn came to an end. He wore his coat and some of Hyuck's clothes that were too baggy for him to wear. He was going to pass by his house to grab some of his own clothes on his way home later.
Made his way through the cold streets until he stood in front of the place the three had agreed to meet. It was the same place he and Hyuck had talked about living alone. He stood looking up at the sign before taking a deep breath and stepping through the door.

What do you think Jaemin and Renjun want to talk about??
Hope you are enjoying the story so far.
I need to get it back on track though so prepare for some possibly confusing chapters.
