"How do you do it?" Taehyung glanced at the older, his boyfriend.
"Do what?"
"Pretend you're okay." Yoongi looked at him, confused.
"I'm not pretending. I'm fine."
"Yes, you are." The younger took Yoongi's hands and looked him in the eye. Yoongi avoided his gaze.
"Every single day, you are. And it breaks my heart." Yoongi looked up, unshed tears drowning his eyes.
"I'm sorry." His voice cracked. "I'm so sorry."
"Oh, no. Baby, no." Tae cradled Yoongi's head and brought it to his chest, feeling the older's tears dampen his shirt.
"You shouldn't hurt because of me," Yoongi muttered pitifully.
"It's not your fault, love. It's okay."
