eleven

it was thursday when hyejin walked into the school building early as usual with earphones on. she made her way to her locker while softly humming to GOT7's thursday.

grabbing the books for today's classes, she slowly shut her locker close before making her way towards her class. placing her things at her place, she glanced at the time.

she still had about 45 minutes until the bell rings so she decided to kill time by walking around the school. she didn't have any specific destination in mind thus she simply walked wherever her feets brought her.

she was at the entrance of the school garden when she spot a familiar figure sitting on a bench alone while listening to music, as he had earphones on just like her.

wanting to observe more, hyejin took off her own earphones and watched her senior who had both eyes closed, letting him feel the music he was listening. hyejin was hiding behind small trees that were enough to hide her from being seen.

she smiled softly as she continued to watch jongho, who was practically doing nothing. anyone could tell that hyejin had hearts in her eyes.

'he looks calm. as always'

she stared at him fondly, not realising that it had been nearly ten minutes of her hiding when she was startled by a voice from behind.

"what are you doing behind a tree?"

she jumped at the voice, thankful that she didn't let out a single noise or else, she could've been caught by jongho. she turned around immediately to see a classmate of hers looking at her questioningly.

"nothing! hahah.. what are you doing here, beomgyu?" she nervously asked the boy as she attempted to block his view from seeing jongho.

the newcomer squinted his eyes at her, trying to sense some sort of lie before turning to his normal self. "nah i was just passing by and saw you here"

beomgyu explained with a :] smile on his face. "aren't you heading to class though? it's pretty far from here" he asked.

"ah right. let's go!" hyejin uttered before grabbing the boy by the arm and quickly running off towards 1-1.

jongho opened his eyes as he pulled his earphones off. he glanced at the girl, who was speaking to a boy, not too far from where he was. soon, the both of them took off running towards the school building making jongho wonder, what are they?

'maybe that was just her friend'

jongho shrugged off the uneasy feeling inside of him as he got up and head towards his own class.
