hyejin stared at the poster before her in awe. her eyes were shining as she scanned the familiar face on the poster.
suddenly, an arm circled around her shoulders, startling her.
"come on, hyejin. stop staring at yeji's poster. you'll see her later" a 14 year old hyunjin whined. "let's get home~ yeji's staying over the weekend!"
hyejin instantly smiled at his last words before pulling the boy by the arm and immediately running off towards their home.
they stopped in front of their house when a familiar car parked in their driveway. the door was pushed opened revealing a familiar figure of a father they love so dearly.
"dad!!" the two beamed before running towards the grinning man. the three hugged each other so tight before they were interrypted by another voice that they hadn't heard for so long.
"i guess no one misses me" hyejin pulled away from the hug and her eyes brightened at the sight of her beloved sister in front of her.
"unnie! i miss you!!" the younger exclaimed before pulling her sister in an even tighter hug. the elder giggled.
"sorry. the coaches were pushing me to my best i had no time to come home"
"is it because you're getting famous?" hyejin asked. the elder giggled. "yes, sis"
a scoff was heard. the girls looked up. hyunjin walked towards them with his arms crossed. "my own twin is getting famous what am i gonna do with my life"
yeji rolled her eyes playfully at his comment. "oh shut up. just continue what you're good at"
"the only thing i'm good at is 'annoying yeji' but how am i supposed to do that when you're no longer home" hyunjin said.
their father chuckled at his children.
"come on, kids. your mother must be waiting inside"
the three teenagers followed their father inside, joking with each other along the way.
later that night, the family was having a dinner. finally complete after a while.
"it feels weird to go to school alone" hyunjin commented. yeji looked at him apologetically.
"you know yeji has to focus on her practice and her career, right?" the father softly asked.
hyunjin looked down at his food.
"i know. i was just saying.."
hyejin punched his shoulder playfully. "you should've join unnie to become a famous pianist!"
hyunjin gave her a disgusted look. "nope. not my style. blergh"
their parents chuckled at his reponse. yeji rolled her eyes playfully. "let him do what he wants, hyejin"
hyejin looked at her sister. "then can i be a pianist like you??" yeji grinned. "sure! we have a professional piano instructor as a dad, you know"
the father shook his head at their conversation before grinning.
"anything for my daughter"
