'knock knock'

the girl peeked in, looking for the familiar face of her brother.

seungmin looked up from his phone and smiled as soon as he saw hyejin by the door.

"come in, hye" the girl grinned before stepping into the class.

"where are the others?" hyejin asked, glancing around the half-full class, noticing that even the group of familiar boys were also missing. she sat at jinyoung's seat as seungmin gestured her to.

"they are either practicing for the school's talent night or just watching them practice" the boy shrugged.

"even hyunjin? what's he performing??" the girl asked.

"he's probbably gonna dance" seungmin said. "oh and 3racha's invited to perform!!" the boy beamed.

hyejin's eyes shined at the mention of the trio. in case you didn't know, 3racha is a trio of underground rappers consist of chan, changbin and jisung.

yes. jisung. the squirrel boy who had always bothered the heck out of hyejin. the one and only han jisung.

she also knew well the other two, chan and changbin. changbin's her senior in a year above hyunjin while chan's currently in college. the two of them were very close friends of hyunjin and hers.

together, the trio had produced some cool and awesome tracks. 'a bop' as what she and felix had said. hearing that they're gonna perform made her feel super excited.

"can't wait!! omg omg" she squealed excitedly, causing seungmin to laugh at her excitement.

a familiar boy walked into the class but stopped when he saw the two laughing. hyejin and seungmin turned towards the newcomer, hyejin's eyes went slightly wide.

"hey, jongho" jongho smiled at his greeting and looked at the girl beside him. he gave her a small wave, which hyejin awkwardly returned one.

"done practicing?" seungmin asked. the newcomer simply shook his head. "we're on a break"

jongho averted his gaze towards hyejin and saw her confused look. he chuckled before leaning onto the wall by the door. "me and a classmate are doing a duet for the talent night"

at that, hyejin's lips formed an 'o' as she nodded understandingly. she blinked. "who?"

"choi jisu. do you know her?" he replied.

'choi jisu? the senior who's close with ryujin?'

she smiled, nodding. "yes, of course i know her"

the boy returned her smile before making his way towards his desk to grab his bottle. "welp. guess i gotta go-"

"jongho!"

a feminine voice interrupted his words as a girl stepped into the class in a rushing manner. jongho looked at her.

"mr. han wants to see our progress. come on" she stated before turning her attention towards the other two. she tilted her head when she saw the junior.

"aren't you hyejin?" the younger blinked in embarrassment, startled that the senior knew her. "yes.."

the elder smiled softly. "oh hi then. i'm jisu"

at that, the younger smiled even wider as it seemed like the senior is actually very nice and friendly.

"okay, then. let's hurry up, jisu" jongho interrupted, before quickly ushering his friend to get to the music room as soon as possible. the duo hastily walked out, not forgetting to wave at seungmin and hyejin who simply smiled at them.

"we call them the chois" seungmin said out of nowhere, followed by a giggle. hyejin frowned. "the chois?"

"yeah. they're pretty close as best friends, some even ship them together but no one really knows what their status is thus they're called the chois" the boy explained before averting his attention back to his phone to reply to a message

hyejin on the other hand frowned even harder. 'are they.. a couple?‘ she thought. 'it does seem like they are very close though'

she lightly pout at the thought.

'whatever. it's not like jongho's interested in me anyway..'
