"yeji! you're home!" hyejin exclaimed as soon as her sister stepped into the house.

yeji shot her a glare before walking past her and straight to her room. hyejin blinked in confusion. she looked at hyunjin who was giving her a sad smile.

"i'll talk to her" hyunjin said before making his way towards yeji's room.

"yeji" he called as soon as he entered her room. yeji looked away from her closet and shot him a quick smile. "yo, hyun"

"please don't be like that" hyunjin started, sitting himself on her untouched bed.

yeji paused.

"like what?" she frowned.

"i saw that"

yeji tilted her head in confusion. she made her way in front of him.

"i know what you're feeling towards hyejin. please, throw your greed away.."

yeji's expression turned mad.

"what do you know?!"

"come on, yeji. i know you too well"

"then you should understand how i feel about mr. lang's offer to be her own coach! that's just so fucking unfair!"

she paused, taking a deep breath before continuing. "say whatever you want, i will never forgive her if she even touch the piano ever again!"

suddenly, a thud was heard.

the two snapped their attention to the door and saw a tear-filled hyejin right outside the room.

"i- i.."

yeji groaned.

"you heard me. now, fuck off"

"b-but yeji.. you said i should follow my dream-"

"fuck your dream can't you find something else to do?!"

a tear unknowingly slipped out of hyejin's eye. the girl in front of her, who was she? this wasn't her sister yeji..

"get out! the both of you!!" yeji shouted, aggressively pushing hyunjin up and throwing the both of them out of her room. she slammed the door in their face and proceeded to lock it.

hyunjin was taken aback by the sudden change of his sister. he quickly pulled hyejin into her own room and hugged her tight. the younger quietly sobbed onto his shirt causing it to wet.

"h-hyunnie.. w-what.. what happened to u-unnie..?" hyejin asked in between sobs. the boy rubbed comforting circles on her back, attempting to calm her down.

"she just thought that.. you're threatening her career"

hyejin looked up at her brother in confusion. "b-but i would never.."

"i know, hyejinnie. give it a time, she'll be okay"
