twenty-nine

it was friday night and jeongin decided to sleep over at the hwangs'. but of course, he came for hyejin, not hyunjin.

"oh come on innie.. i wanna join too" hyunjin whined. jeongin stuck his tongue out at the elder.

"us both are having a movie night. besties only!" the younger announced, unfazed at hyunjin's pleading eyes and pouty lips.

hyejin on the other hand was busy picking a movie to watch with her bestie since childhood.

"but i was the one who introduced you to each other eleven years ago!" the elder whined, attempting to sit on the sofa with the two, only to be lazily pushed by hyejin who was yet pick a movie.

hyunjin aggressively pouted. "get lost,hyunjin. i still hate you for that damn prank" hyejin snapped, shooting the boy a glare.

with that, hyunjin grumbled and walked off to his room with a loud slam.

"tsk. salty ass bitch" she commented.

jeongin nodded in agreement. they began to watch some disney movie hyejin randomly choosed, hands full of snacks.

halfway through the movie, jeongin decided to speak up.

"say, we've been friends for almost eleven years but i still can't believe i wasn't the first to know about your crush towards jongho" the boy said, slightly pouted.

hyejin let out an exhausted sigh. "well it's embarrassing and sort of a girls' talk so that's why i told minnie first.. sorry innie" hyejin gave him a sad look with a pout.

jeongin made a thinking face, wanting to tease the girl a bit. "nope. apology denied"

"oh, come on!" she deadpanned. the boy giggled at her reaction.

"okay okay. but how did hyunjin even find out though??" he asked, a bit sad that even hyunjin knew before him-but it's not a big deal anyway.

hearing the question, hyejin's mind wandered to two years ago, back in middle school, where she was exposed resulting to an annoying hyunjin teasing her nonstop up till this day.
