"hey, hyejin"

the said girl looked up from her notes upon hearing her name being called. some well-known girls was standing right in front of her, one of them being ryujin, her classmate.

don't get her wrong. it isn't like she had bad blood with them. hyejin wasn't the type to purposely find enemies.

if she did have enemy, it's basically them being jealous at her for nothing. besides, ryujin and her friends were pretty kind in hyejin's opinion.

hyejin gave them a small smile. "hey. what is it?"

ryujin returned her smile.

"i heard you have hots for jongho sunbae?"

hyejin blinked, surprised that ryujin knew about it. she had never told anyone else except for her best friends.

minhee who was beside her frowned before slamming her hand onto her desk.

"where did you hear that??"

hyejin gave her a look and minhee instantly tried to hold in her anger.

ryujin chuckled at minhee's reaction before leaning back.

"i guess it's true then" she smiled. "but jisu unnie likes him though.. it's been more than a year if i'm not mistaken. they are close after all"

hyejin stayed silent, patiently waiting for ryujin to get to her point. minhee on the other hand felt her anger slowly rising.

"and your point is?" minhee snapped.

"if i were you, i wouldn't even think to go near him"

ryujin smiled at her. hyejin's face remained expressionless. minhee rolled her eyes.

after taking in the two girls' response, ryujin walked away, not before giving them one last polite smile.

"how the fuck did she find out??" minhee groaned. "hyejin, i swear jeongin and i kept quiet. you trust us, ri-"

"yes, yes. i know you guys wouldn't do that" hyejin gave her a smile.

minhee frowned. "who cares if her precious unnie has feelings for him? it's not like they're dating?? and what? more than a year? you liked him since almost three years ago what bullsh-"

"minhee, enough" hyejin cut her off. "i was planning to move on anyways" she looked down while fiddling with her fingers.

"what?? why?!" minhee freaked out, her eyes widened.

"i met her before and i figured out that jisu sunbae like him too"

"and you're giving up??" minhee frowned, her lips forming a small pout. "but i ship you both.."

hyejin shrugged, a forced smile on her lips.

"fine. i respect your decision even though i disagree" minhee grunted before turning her attention back to her phone.

hyejin pursed her lips, her mind trailed to the choi duo. indeed, they both do look like they belong with each other and she didn't want to ruin that.

'guess it's time to let go..'
