the next day after jeongin and hyejin's sleepover, they both woke up to the sound of hyunjin screaming and jumping around the living room amidst the mountain of blankets and pillows. a sweet revenge, as what hyunjin thought.
hyejin groaned in annoyance. still lying face down, she lifted her legs around in the air, attempting to trip the tall ass boy that she calls brother, but failed anyways.
jeongin on the other hand got startled and immediately jolted awake, eyes wide as he tried figuring out who was he and where he was.
hyunjin smacked his sister repeatedly using changbin's plushie, gyu－yes, they kidnapped it from changbin, causing the girl to snatch it and threw it away somewhere far.
"hyunjin, shut up!!" hyejin groaned, still in a lying position.
"nuh uh! it's a brand new day, losers! unlike you, i am kind enough to let you join our squad's gathering so you better get your ass up and shower!" hyunjin shouted in hyejin ears, making her sit up in annoyance.
"well i don't want to join you so can you please shut up and let me sleep"
"nope! mom's not home and i'm not leaving you alone here" hyunjin glared.
"i'm seventeen, hyunjin. i can be home alone, leave me be! ugh" hyejin grumbled. jeongin quietly slipped out of the scene to get into shower while the the siblings held a staring contest.
hyunjin crossed his arms, giving her a stern look. "did you forget the last time you were home alone?" he snapped.
hyejin frowned, obviously taken aback by his reminder. she felt defeated instantly as she dropped her gaze to the floor.
slowly getting up and cleaning the room, she mumbled a quick 'fine', loud enough for the brother to hear before making her way towards her bedroom.
hyunjin's gaze softened as he stared at his sister's slumped shoulders at the slight mention of the incident. he felt guilty for reminding it to her.
he didn't mean bad, he just didn't want her to harm herself ever again. especially now that she'd been doing well. he had promised himself to always be there for his only sibling left.
after much thought, the boy made his way to his own room to get ready for the day.
