the next day, jongho stepped into his class a bit later than usual, feeling exhausted for some reason. a few of his classmates were already there including seungmin, bomin, jisung and jinyou-

'wait. jisung?!' he snapped his head towards the said boy to confirm his sight.

'why on earth is he already here-'

"cut it, jong. it isn't a crime for me to come early, you know" jisung spoke up, irritated.

jongho was being very obvious.

"tsk" jisung added, shooting him a glare, to which, jongho responded with a giggle.

the newcomer proceeded to his seat before his forehead ceased with a slight frown.

there, on his desk, rested a perfectly appetizing cereal bar.

'why is this here? who put it?'

sitting down, the boy carefully inspected the snack hoping to find some sort of clue on who it was from.

"there's no note in case you're searching for it" jisung butted in, watching his friend staring at the bar. jongho turned to face him.

"do you know who it's from?"

jisung shrugged as an answer, causing jongho to let out a sigh.

"just enjoy it, dude. if you don't want it then you can give it to me" the squirrel boy grinned. jongho frowned before sticking out his tongue.

"dream on"

the boy turned around, immediately tearing off the wrapper before slowly chewing it. a small smile on his lips as he enjoyed the small but appetizing breakfast.

'thank you, whoever you are. i really needed this'
