"jisu why are you getting even clingier these days?" jongho asked, trying his best not to snort recalling how cringy the girl was being around him.

jisu placed down her coffee before pouting. "i'm not clingy!"

"yeah yeah whatever. but you know what i meant" the boy nonchalantly replied.

"you know very well why"

the boy sighed. he knew it. he should've seen it coming. he knew jisu liked him. she had confessed to him before but jongho only thought of them as friends, siblings even. nothing more. the boy just simply can't look at her as a woman. he thought it was weird. at least for him. not for hyunjin though. but that's a story for another time.

"i thought i've made it clear" the boy pursed his lips, lazily eyeing the girl who was sipping her coffee.

"yes, you did. but people can change. i'm simply trying" jisu smiled. jongho's face remained calm. a slight frown was evident. he was deep in thoughts.

"yeah, people change. some are and some don't. i don't know about me, but you clearly are"
