hyejin looked into the mirror one last time before stepping out of the restroom. she stopped in tracks when someone called her.

"hyejin!"

the girl turned around and was taken aback when she saw jongho walking up to her, a smile on his lips. she blinked, trying to control her heart.

'move on, hyejin. remember that'

"come and watch me tonight?" the boy asked, his eyes flashed a hopeful glint.

'man, those eyes.. how can i say no to that?'

"well, yes. i mean, i'm watching hyunjin anyways so" she said.

'no, hyejin. move on!'

"yes, but anticipate me too. please?" the boy pouted.

she blinked. her mind battling with her heart on what to say to the boy who had his eyes wide and lips pouting, hoping for her to say yes.

"i'll treat you to dinner after the show"

'welp. fuck moving on, we getting free food AND a hot boi wee woo'

"okay"

the boy broke into a wide grin. unable to control his excitement, jongho pulled hyejin in for a hug. a very tight hug. but a warm one. the kind of hug that made you feel protected.
