"what is my favourite lil sis doing here all alone?" the boy asked before casually taking a seat beside hers.

she chuckled weakly at his words.

"is hannah a joke to you then?"

chan giggled at her remark before ruffling her hair.

"hannah insisted that lucas is her only brother" he shrugged as he smiled even wider.

"a revenge huh"

"not my fault she didn't tell me her shoe size" chan defended himself.

hyejin scoffed. "you could just? take a look at her shoes at home if you don't want to ask her, you know??"

chan rolled her eyes at her nagging. "enough about me and hannah. you. you okay?"

hyejin turned silent. she pursed her lips, holding her tears from falling.

"it's.. it's nothing"

chan sighed. he pulled her in for a hug. "it's fine if you don't wanna talk about it. but i do know you need a hug"

she buried her face in his chest. his hug had always been that one hug that never fails to comfort you. she'd always love his hug. to her, chan was like another older brother. he'd been there for her whenever hyunjin couldn't.

not just chan though. she'd say all of their squad had been great brother figures to her. the squad was her home. they helped her stand back up when it happened.

she quietly sobbed in his embrace. 'let go of jongho, hyejin. he's happy with jisu' her mind said.

chan rubbed her back in circles. "i'll take you home. come on"

-

jongho snapped out of his trance before pushing jisu off. his eyes staring wide at her.

"what the fuck, jisu??" he let out. jisu looked down in guilty.

"i.. i just wanted her to back off.." she admitted, eyes still glued to the floor.

"jisu, i've told you many times! i can never look at you the way you want me to! now look what you've done" he let out a frustrated sigh before messing his own hair.

"i'm sorry, jjong.." she choked out. tears of guilty filling her eyes.

jongho looked at her in disappointment before letting out a defeated sigh.

"right. well, i won't say 'it's okay' because it's not. but please" he pleaded. "please leave us alone alright?" at this point, he was practically begging.

jisu slowly looked up to meet his eyes before nodding. jongho sighed before running out to find hyejin.

'where is she??'

he stopped in front of the school building. he was panting hard as he glanced around the place. he then finally spotted hyejin's familiar figure standing beside a car.

as he was about to walk towards her, another figure approached her and immediately pulled open the passenger door.

jongho watched as they both got in the car before speeding out of the school ground. he sighed.

"i fucked up.."
