wow we're already at seventy 😐
jisung squinted his eyes at the girl who was heading his way. well, more like heading towards the class. jisung was leaning against the wall right outside his classroom.
felix who was beside him did a facepalm. "jisung. don't make it obvious please" felix muttered.
just when jisu arrived in front of them, jisung stopped her. jisu gave him a questioning look.
"was it you?" jisung squinted his eyes. jisu raised an eyebrow.
"what was me??"
"was it you who spread the rumors about hyejin's past?" felix asked, more calm than jisung.
jisu widened her eyes in shocked. it was obvious she was taken aback.
"no! i did not say a word about that matter" she said.
jisung crossed his arms. "are you sure?" he sternly asked.
"yes! why would i do that??" jisu protested.
jisung nonchalantly played with his nails. "i don't know. maybe you're jealous of hyejin and jongho? i don't know. why you do it?"
jisu frowned. "i didn't do it! and i am not jealous of those two. i'm moving on, alright?!"
felix sighed. "i can see that. sorry for bothering you, lia. come on, jisung. let's go" he apologised before pulling a hard-headed jisung away from her.
the frown never left jisu. she bit her underlip nervously. one person came across her mind but she shook it away immediately. she let out a sigh before stepping into her class.
"she said she didn't do it let's stop accusing her, alright?" felix advised. jisung groaned.
"fine! but i still think she's fishy" jisung huffed before stomping his way towards the restroom.
later that day, school ended. everyone was heading home. jongho on the other hand was looking for jisu.
he spotted the girl at her locker and instantly made his way towards her.
"jisu!"
the said girl turned to him, a questioning look on her face.
"what is it, jjong?"
jongho rubbed at his nape nervously. he didn't want to ask but it was bothering him for days.
"you didn't spread those rumors right?"
jisu's calm expression turned into an annoyed one. she slammed her locker shut, startling the boy beside her.
"no, i didn't! why are you all asking me this question?!" she sighed.
jongho gave her an apologetic smile. "they thought it was you because you're the only one who knew about it aside from them"
jisu sighed in dissappointment. "no, it wasn't me. satisfied?"
jongho gave her a small smile, satisfied with her answer. he pat her shoulder. "i knew i could trust you"
he stepped back, smiling at her. "get back home safely"
with that, jongho walked away leaving the girl alone in the hallway.
