it was currently free time for all students as the teachers were holding an important meeting. hyejin decided to spend her time by studying in the library alone.

jeongin and minhee refused to join her as they claimed themselves as the 'cool kids' and insisted that the cool kids 'don't study'.

'whatever' hyejin thought. 'it's their grades not mine'

she would invite hyunjin over but she was still mad at him for pulling a prank and embarrassing her like that yesterday.

thank goodness she's smart enough to figure out that hyunjin had changed his name to 'zzz' in her phone so she immediately changed jongho's number to 'jongho sunbae' and hyunjin's to 'evil satan'.

speaking of, hyejin still hadn't address jongho about the incident. she's aware that she was supposed to explain herself to him, or at least apologize for the weird incident but she just couldn't bring herself to even look at him. she was too embarrassed.

she genuinely hoped that jongho would let it slide and not think too much about it.

as hyejin was too immersed in studying, she didn't notice a pair of eyes watching her from a few shelves away.

jongho stared at her as a small smile tugged at his lips. he watched her as a slight frown formed showing how focused she was in understanding her readings. the way she lightly bit her lower lip in concentration. jongho became lost in thoughts.

he wasn't sure if he was having some sort of crush on her but the girl surely did make him interested. he couldn't help it. she was too cute for her own good.

suddenly, the boy felt a hand resting on his shoulder causing him to slightly jump at the surprise. he immediately turned to his left only to be met with a grinning seungmin.

"go and talk to her, rather than just standing here and waste time" the newcomer spoke up. jongho blinked.

"i don't even have an excuse to talk to her..?" the latter said, sounding more like a question.

"why would you need an excuse to talk to her?" seungmin pursed his lips, a confused look on his face.

"well. we're not close and barely know each other so.." jongho trailed off, not sure of what to say.

"then this is the perfect time for you to get to know her! now shoo" seungmin beamed, attempting to push his friend away to her but failed anyway.

"no thanks. i don't want to face an angry hyunjin, you know" jongho uttered, feet glued to the floor as he resisted seungmin's force.

the latter blinked in confusion. "uhm why would hyunjin be mad??"

jongho gave him a duhh look. "because that's his girlfriend? why else" jongho deadpanned, as if it was the most obvious thing.

seungmin gave him a wtf look before blinking his eyes repeatedly. "girlfriend??"

jongho nodded. seungmin had his lips pressed together forming a line before eventually bursting in fits of giggle as he tried his best to be quiet considering that he was inside a library.

jongho eyed him weirdly. "what are you laughing at?"

seungmin wheezed as he held onto his friend's shoulder to keep him stable.

"i'm laughing at you, idiot"

"what's so funny ugh" jongho grumbled, irritated at his friend.

"this is why you should've join us whenever we come over to hyunjin's place" seungmin shook his head at his dear friend, making the latter even more confused. "what do you mean?"

"she's hwang hyejin. hwang hyejin. hwang hyunjin. they're siblings, dude"
