hyunjin looked up from his phone to see seungmin looking at him with a questioning look.

"why does hyejin looks sad?" the puppy-like boy asked. hyunjin glanced at his sister who was sitting across seungmin. the girl was undeniably quiet as she stirred her drink while we waited for the others to come.

"it was my fault" hyunjin replied before going back to his phone.

"i slightly mentioned about the incident" he explained, loud enough for only seungmin to hear. seungmin frowned, lightly smacking his friend in the arm.

"great. now we have to deal with her silent treatment" seungmin grumbled causing hyunjin to give him an apologetic look.

jeongin, who was sitting next to the girl tried so hard to get her to talk but it didn't seem like he'd succeed anytime soon.

after a while sitting in the cafe, the awaited boys had finally arrived. "ayyo suckers!" jisung yelled causing felix to smack him.

glancing around, the newcomers noticed hyejin and shot her a smile. "hey hyejin"

the girl looked up and weakly smiled. "hey"

just as they were about to walk off, hyunjin stopped them.

"what is it, hyunjin?" felix asked.

scratching his head, he nervously replied, occasionally glancing at his sister.

"uhh i invited jongho too and he'll be here soon.."

hyejin's ears perked up at the mention of her crush. staring at hyunjin, she blinked.

hyunjin awkwardly avoided her gaze.

"awesome! that loser is finally hanging out with us" jisung beamed.

"what loser?" a voice appeared, interrupting jisung's little victory dance. all of them turned around and saw jongho approaching them.

hyejin's eyes turned bright at the sight of the newcomer.

jongho noticed her and offered her his charming smile making her cheeks flushed. hyunjin softly smiled as he saw hyejin's change in expression.

jongho walked up to jisung and slung his arm around the skinny boy's shoulders.

"aren't you the loser here?" he questioned, teasing jisung. the latter rolled his eyes in response.

"oh shut up. let's get going"
