"is hyunjin actually dancing for the school festival night?" minhee asked her friend as they made their way towards the practice room that was located on the other side of the school."yes, duhh. you know him well enough to expect that, min" hyejin said. they both took a right turn and could already hear loud music coming from some of the rooms there.
school ended and hyunjin had told them to come to the practice room so they could walk home together. jeongin on the other hand was told to come home quick for some formal dinner with his dad's business partner so the boy already headed home first.
just as the girls were about to open the door to the practice room, the door was pulled open from the inside revealing four boys who were about to walk out.
a certain squirrel boy broke into a wide smile.
"hyejinnie!!" jisung beamed before pulling the girl into a tight hug. hyejin blinked. she was struggling to breathe as jisung tightened the embrace.
the boy was still sweating from the practice a while ago and seeing him hugging hyejin had caused minhee to gag.
"gross" minhee mumbled to herself before pulling hyejin away from the rapper, causing him to pout.
the remaining boys simply laughed.
"man, that was nasty. jisung, you're disgusting" seungmin commented as they all walked out of the room.
"nah. hyejin loves my hugs the most. right, hyejin?" jisung exclaimed. hyejin awkwardly smiled at him before slowly walking away from him. jisung noticed and instantly chased her. the girl ran for dear life, not watching her surroundings and soon enough, she found herself bumping into someone before landing on her butt.
"ouch.." she grumbled, rubbing her forehead before looking up.
'well, shit.'
jongho stood before her. eyes staring straight at her. he offered a hand for her to get up, which she hesitantly took. standing up, she mumbled a quick 'thank you' while dusting off the non-existant dust off her skirt.
hyejin heard faint footsteps nearing them but she could only care less about jisung and his sweaty figure at the moment. her eyes focused on the pair in front of her.
jongho and jisu.
the both of them were standing very close to each other, there had to be something going on between them.
at least that's what hyejin thought.
the elder girl offered her a smile. "hello, hyejin"
the younger returned her smile. "hi, sunbae"
"oi jongho!"
the trio turned their attention towards the voice.
it was felix. he was walking towards them with the others following behind. jisung's eyes lit up when he saw his two classmates.
"oooh it's the chois~" he teased. hyunjin rolled his eyes at jisung's words.
jongho shook his head, a small smile tugging at his lips.
"are you all heading home?" jongho asked.
"yeah"
"oh. then, can i come along?" jongho asked again before feeling a slight tug of his blazer.
it was jisu. she was frowning slightly at his words. "but you agreed to bring me to the cafe nearby?"
hyejin felt a hard slap in her heart.
'right. this is when you should really move on from him, hyejin-ah' she thought.
her eyes slowly getting teary but hyejin was fast enough to blink them away.
"oh yeah.. let's get going then. bye, guys" jongho said, before walking off with jisu by his side, not forgetting to glance at hyejin one last time.
hyunjin looked at his sister's expression before sighing.
