Seokjin's P. O. V.
I hate beaches!
I stepped out as the car came to a halt at the portico of the grand resort by the sea, the air smelled of salty sea spray, pears and lillies. Fixed my clothes a bit peering over my shades at the unnecessarily gaudy decor before I strutted into the lounge, secretly praying that I wouldn't have to face those annoyingly fake smiles and prying inquiries those so-called family throw at me to quirk up their eyebrows and be judgemental to their heart's content.
God I hate weddings!!
"He isn't coming is he? It's his twin sister's wedding and he still has to be this fat arrogant warthog!"
I hastily pulled down my shades and grabbed a stray magazine to hide behind it.
"Huh...wait a minute"
Not this early! No! Go away! Shoo...shoo...
My panic turned to a groaning chain of curses when I saw her sway her way inside the lounge in a pretty lavender dress, her smile grew brighter than the diamonds on her neck and giggles filled the room as she broke into a run.
Fuck! Here we go...
"You're ridiculous you know that! The magazine is upside down Jinnie!" Juhee roared breaking through the fence of trolley bags I had surrounded myself with.
I hate everything!
"So you thought you'd come to my wedding and hide from me?"
But she's the one soul I'd do anything for, this pesky bundle of hormones was allowed to break in and rule over my fortress of solitude whenever she felt like.
"W-well, just ch-checking the picture from a different angle" I stuttered to make up a good comeback as she pulled away the shades from my face and beamed.
"You're such a dork" she sat herself on the edge of the low table and held that teethy five year old's grin, those hazel eyes as shiny and beady as marbles.
"And your breath stinks. Don't tell me you kiss your fiance with that mouth?"
"I totally do, and he loves it!"
"Gross!"
"Don't make fun of me, I'm getting married!"
"Yeah that's a shocker!"
"Thanks for coming, I was starting to doubt that promise of yours."
"Couldn't miss it even if I wanted to" saw her doe eyes twinkle "It's not every day you get to see the Mr. Passedat working right in front of you!" I added and saw her eyes squint and jaw tighten. "So you came here to watch that wry old man cook?"
"Of course I did! He has three Michelin stars can you imagine! I'm impressed that rich, uptight hunk you chose at least has a good taste in food" she hit my shoulder at my animated explanation and got up to drag me along.
"Umm...where are we going?" I am quite sure this is going to be a difficult couple days. "Mom has been chewing my ear off asking about you, says you've been avoiding her" That's because I have. I let her lead me into the elevator and silently prepared myself for the long awaited assault I have barely been putting off for the last six years.
"So I win" she says with an evil grin and suddenly my stomach lurched remembering the childish bet we had made. "I get to choose who you're gonna marry" she spoke in a sing-song and poked her tongue out.
"Grow up, like I'm gonna let you after seeing what you chose for yourself" I chuckled.
"Henry is adorable!"
