Third Person’s P.O.V.
Seokjin had fled the scene the moment he could wiggle out of their constant concerns directed towards him and Taehyung’s heavy words hammering onto his head.
A board member of the company who had to be present at every meeting?!
A head of a new project?!
Heck he was a man who belonged in the kitchen, being a chef was what he was used to, and he guessed this as probably one of Taehyung’s new ways to get on his nerves again. He was almost getting excited about a new restaurant he could design it the way he’d want and bring his dreams to life but to think Taehyung would try to manipulate him to take up responsibilities in the company by playing such a card was simply infuriating!
He speed-walked down the long passageway, trying to get out of there before Taehyung could drag him into anymore of his shitty plans.
“Not so fast babe” and the voice had almost made Seokjin break into a run before he could feel being pulled back.
“Where are you running off to?”
“I hope you know what big headed jerk you are” Jin spoke through gritted teeth “I want no part in this, I’m going back to my kitchen.”
Discarding the other’s enraged grumbles Taehyung walked them back down the passageway.
“What the hell are you even thinking?”
Jin grumbled under his breath as they stepped inside the lavish office that now belonged to the CEO of the company. The extensive meeting was over, and after Taehyung had effectively established the fact that Seokjin was going to have a say in every decision the board takes they finally left the conference room.
“Aren’t you forgetting that I have Silver Spoon to look after?” His blood boiled further to see the other merely hold a smirk and not answer him.
“So you don’t want the project to build a new restaurant? Completely open for you to design it the way you want to…don’t want it? Ok then..” he took a slow turn away from Jin, counting slowly in his head the seconds because he was sure that he would hear the other give in. Taehyung could already see the glittery greed of having his dreams come true burning in his bright eyes.
“B-But…Silver Spoon…” “Oh you can keep Silver Spoon” Taehyung spoke, casually sitting at the edge of his desk as he watched Jin, waiting for his suggestions before an idea struck his mind “let’s go, I want you to see something”.
He straightened up suddenly, startling Seokjin in the process who was still debating on this whole issue when the other just tugged him follow along. Taehyung asked Gyo to wait for them, and decided to drive.
“Where are we going?” Jin was beginning to have an inkling of idea since Taehyung suddenly looked awfully silent as he stiffly drove, to finally reply after minutes.
“My home”
And after almost thirty minutes they drove into what looked like one of those grand estates which had turned way too wild and unkempt with plants sprouting everywhere due to being abandoned for years. Jin could only gawk open-mouthed as the car came to a halt in front of huge cast iron gates, the driveway was enough even for a war tank to pass through and littered with undaunted creepers and weeds.
Jin followed Taehyung as he stepped out of the car to get the gates open.
It was tough work as they struggled to unlatch, fighting each other off to prove who knew the best technique that would do the deed and once they had managed to get it to open, they pushed with all their might and the heavy metal groaned to finally acknowledge their hard work.
