My Monday morning alarm blared, I laid staring at the ceiling from my bed. I was dreading the day. Naruto had texted saying that Hinata would get the keys to his car today when she came to the meeting. The meeting, one reason today was going to be awful. The others? Obito, though he left the key, he left it with the ring on the same key chain. Then there was Madara, who knew what he had in store for me. I finally shut my alarm off and got out of bed, pulling myself together, I headed to shower.

Today I wore a crisp, off white blouse, high wait black skirt that the shirt tucked into and black heels. Hair down and curled, wanting to show initiative with a meeting being held. Sunglasses on, coffee in hand, I headed for the parking garage. Shisui's truck was gone, but Obito's car remained in its space. I shook my head and continued to Naruto's car.

After my paycheck from last week, I can now go by a car. I wasn't sure how I'd handle everyone asking when I was quitting my second job after that, but I needed a car. Especially after I burned one bridge for a ride to work, Obito. There was the car service, but that just sounded weird to me.

I saw no one as I headed to my office, unlocking it and settling in with the door open. Obito's office was past mine, so he'd have to walk in front of my door to reach his office. I began checking my emails and saw the invitations had been sent out on time. Confirmation for security, catering and flowers all came in as well. I followed up with the dj and the rentals for tables, chairs and linens.

My phone started ringing and I glanced to see Shisui's name on my work phone. "Hello?" I answered.

"Have you seen Obito yet?" Shisui asked immediately.

"No." I glanced at the clock, it was already 9:22am.

"He didn't mention a meeting this morning. When did you see him last?"

"Are you in your office?"

"No, Itachi's. I came here looking for Obito."

"I'm coming." I sighed and hung up the phone.

I grabbed both phones and made my way through the office floor. I passed Madara's office and noticed the door was cracked, and room silent. Sakura was typing away at her desk, simply glancing up before returning to her work. I knocked on Itachi's door, waiting for it to open. Shisui opened the door, his usual smile missing, moving to let me enter. He closed the door behind me and followed me in.

"I saw him yesterday, about 5:30."

"Was he okay?" Itachi sat on his couch, lounging like he owned the world.

"Yes."

"Is there more to the story?" Itachi pushed, Shisui taking one of the chairs, phone pressed to his ear.

"There always is when one of you is involved." I retorted.

"He didn't answer." Shisui mumbled as he sat his phone down.

I sighed, seems to be happening a lot today already, "Is it really that big of a deal?"

"For Obito, yes." Itachi answered, "Be glad Madara hasn't noticed yet. If he's not here for that meeting, Madara will be livid."

I took my personal phone and pulled up Obito's number. My thumb hovered for a moment before I pressed call. It rang a couple of times before I was sent to voicemail. I glared angrily before I decided to be a good coworker and try one last thing.

9:34am
To Obito:
Swim

9:35am
From Obito:
I'm on my way.

I let a surprised smile dance across my face before wiping it off quickly. "He's on his way."

"Just like that?" Itachi questioned.
