A/N: Trigger warning!
——————————
I took a step back as Obito wadded in the water to make his way to me. I kept going, trying to get away from him but his reach was able to grip my wrist and I winced. He tried to pull me to him but I put my free hand against his chest to brace me. I could see the confusion and hurt in his eyes but I couldn't do this, not now.
"Let go, Obito," it didn't sound nearly as strong as I had wanted.
Obito's face scrunched in anger, "Quit fighting me," he nearly begged, "talk to me, Asami."
I used his weight against him as I let my feet go and pulled him forward to flip him over me. The water carried my momentum and I sprang upward. I started to make my escape when I reached the edge of the pool but I was easily pulled back and dunked into the water. I gasped for breath and coughed out the water that clogged my throat for a moment. Obito brushed my hair from my face before holding me to him tightly.
Such hate-filled his eyes, but he was also full of sadness. I didn't want to do this, but I just- "Who did this to you?"
I shook my head quickly and closed my eyes, "I'm fine, just let me go."
I kept my eyes close but still shivered as his fingers brushed my neck softly, "Your neck, your wrists, and your ankles." His breath was hot across my damp face and I shivered again, "I'll kill him," he wasn't joking, "who was it?" He rasped a breath away from kissing me.
I couldn't tear my eyes away from his, he was more captivating then I remembered and I just saw him earlier today. The water was cascading down his muscular body. His arms rippling as the corded muscles tensing and relaxing as he held me. His normally hidden half sleeve tattoo coming to life, the dragon roaring as it's the owner did. I was cursing him in my head, as well as fate, what were the odds he'd come for a swim tonight?
I gulped slightly, hoping my throat would collect moisture somehow, "Just let me go," the words held more than one meaning, "Madara-"
"Who did this?!" He rages and I flinched as he did.
I opened my mouth to answer but the stoic and calm voice answered behind me. "Izuna," I closed my eyes and mouth the moment I heard him behind me.
Obito kept me pressed to him but his words were focused on his uncle, "You let Izuna do this to her!"
This ominous chuckle left Madara and I dropped my head to Obito's chest, "Stop." I whispered. He didn't answer, he only gave me a squeeze.
"Son," I could picture the smirk on Madara's face, "the adults are playing." Chilling words from a dangerous man. "If you're not careful, you're going to get hurt. Now, I believe you're holding something that is mine."
Obito didn't budge and I'm sure he felt my own body go rigid at Madara's words, "I don't think she wants to go yet."
Damn fool! "Stop," I whispered again. "Let me go." He didn't move an inch.
"Let her decide, son," I jumped in surprise at his words but kept my head hung and forehead pressed to Obito's chest. His heart was beating wildly.
I lifted my hands and sat them on his sides, "Let go," I said quietly, "just walk away." I gave a soft push, "Please." I whispered, "I'm doing this for us."
I gave another, stronger push and he let go suddenly and I fell back into the water. "Whoring yourself out for what? Money? Fame? A last name?" Was this all for show? His words burned down to the core of my being.
Madara's hand appeared in my line of sight and I turned my head to see him leaning down, "See," his eyes cut to Obito, "she knows where she belongs too." I sat my hand in his and he helped me out of the water. Obito was able to see the full damage done to my body now. I kept my back to Obito and Madara put his hands in his pockets, "As for her- indiscretions, that's between her and myself."
