Approximately 6 months after the case closed

Almost a full six months have gone by and a lot has happened in Konoha, Kiri, and Suna. The underground crime running in Suna by no-name lowlifes were arrested. In Kiri, they arrested the rest of the Root and the Shimura family. In Konoha, Uchiha Corp was frozen and assets with the Uchiha name were frozen as well. Restaurants and bars were closed. Small businesses that relied on the large corporation suffered, but the banks and the government came together to help pull them out.

Izuna had followed Y/n to the apartment the previous meeting between her and Obito. With Madara out of town, Izuna decided to go to the apartment and wait for Y/n. Y/n never checked the spare bedroom, which was where Izuna had come from the second she had stripped down. Not hearing the front door, and her gun lying under the pillow, she was defenseless. Y/n had no idea that Obito had planned on them running away that night. Since Y/n never called Obito, he began to panic and headed to the apartment, fearing the worst. When Obito saw Izuna, he took the opportunity without hesitating and killed him.

Madara was arrested the second his private jet landed in Konoha the night of March 23rd. He was shocked, to say the least, but when Kakashi slapped the cuffs on him and said "Y/n sends her regards" he was really shocked. He had finally been duped, by a woman none the less, and had his heartbroken, again. Of course, he was fighting tooth and nail and the trial kept getting postponed, but he was sitting in federal prison while he waited.

Shisui was brought in, in utter disbelief from what he was hearing. Izuna had been shot. The entire family was being brought in for questioning. At first, they had told him Y/n was being brought in as well, but a few hours later, they told him the truth. They told him she hid bugs all around the private apartment he and Obito shared, and even one in his living room at his penthouse. He didn't blame her, at the end of it all, he couldn't find the hate he needed to blame her. Shisui forgave her. Shisui made a deal, especially since his hands were clean of anything big.

The younger two Uchiha were cleared. Why? Remember that inside informant? Mikoto. The woman was tired of the tyranny and dictatorship she lived in. She wanted something better for her sons and even her nephews. It was never released how she came into contact with someone with the FBI, but the housewife had become the perfect UC. It all came down to two women. Two women helped take down two major crime families and three large mob groups. Sakura gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Sarada. Itachi and Izumi were married in a small and discreet ceremony, family only.

The Akatsuki. They all felt betrayed by Y/n. She paid them each a visit, personally, and they all went about the same. Cussing. Name-calling. Threats. Deidara though, he was still grateful for her saving his life, but he still felt the betrayal, deeply. He simply sat in silence as she stood before him, the plexiglass separating them.

Naruto was... angry. A lot came to light after the Uchiha takedown. Jirayia retired. Tsunade retired. A public announcement was made, against Y/n's wishes, about who she really was, and who's child she really was. Naruto had every right to be angry, but it didn't last long. Pride filled him as he thought more about what his sister had accomplished, what she had been through. He's only seen her a few times over the last six months, but he was excited to see her again at his wedding that was coming up.

Jirayia and Tsunade, while Jirayia was privy to all the details before, during, and after, Tsunade was not. When she found out the truth she had a panic attack and Jirayia had to call Shizune for help. After a Valium and some sleep, she was ready to listen to the story from start to finish. She felt like a failure, on so many levels. When she saw Y/n for the first time after everything, they both broke down. Jirayia had nothing but love for the woman, his daughter, for everything she's done.
