~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The drive to the restaurant was deathly quiet. When Madara appeared at my door, Shisui slipped away to wherever he was going and I was left on my own. I knew I had Kisame on my side, but he couldn't do anything necessarily. Madara had complimented me and that was currently the only words he uttered to me. When we pulled up to the restaurant, I knew why. The VIPs vehicles were out front and two of them were ones I knew all too well: Sasuke and Obito.
"I'll expect you to be on your best behavior." Madara's tone was one of warning and his breath was hot as he whispered to me, hand on my lower back guiding me forward while pictures were taken.
I smiled looking over to him and said, "Always." The smile would seem genuine to most but I'm sure Madara knew better.
We were escorted immediately to a private dining room and tucked away by the sliding doors. They were cracked open and Kisame stood in front of the doors keeping watch. Once Madara and I were alone again, I took the opportunity to look around the private room. Shades of red and navy filled the room along with blacks and whites to accent everything, a typical style with this family it seemed. I felt a hand on my leg and my attention was drawn back to the man at my side.
"The pink doesn't suit you." I was actually surprised by his words but he was always a blunt man.
"I could always take it off." The lilt in my voice matched my expression.
"Perhaps later." He didn't sound serious at all.
"I never really wear pink," I admitted.
"I prefer you in darker colors." Madara seemed absent even though he sat right beside me. I think I preferred to know the wolf was about to attack rather than cowering in wait for his attack.
There was someone talking to Kisame outside the door and I tried to look out around him, but he blocked the view. The voice grew louder and I suddenly knew why we were here.
"See, Bito, I told you it was them." Rin beamed as she slammed open the door, allowing everyone in the restaurant to see us. "We must say hi! Sakura, Sasuke?" She called out, "It is Madara and Y/n." Playing miss prim and proper today. Sakura appeared around the corner and a frowning Sasuke was next, crowding into the room. Lastly, Obito made his way into the room and he slid in next to Rin. "I just knew it was you two." Rin seemed rather pleased with herself at her discovery.
"You've said your hello, you can go now." Madara was even less impressed by the company that joined us than I was.
"Nonsense, we should all get our picture taken together." Rin was giddy with excitement.
"Yes!" Sakura squealed.
"Seriously?" Sasuke mumbled.
"I agree with him," Obito added.
"Now, now, perhaps the girls are right, a photo to commemorate the evening for the newest couple becoming official," Madara smirked. Newest couple?
I had no time to think over his words because the four standing moved around to crowd behind us and Kisame allowed a photographer in. Madara's arm was around my chair and his hand curled around my shoulder. A soft and flirtatious smile on my lips, we all posed for the camera. After a few pictures were taken I glanced at Sakura.
"Sakura," she turned to me, "let me have Kisame get you another drink."
"Oh no-" Sakura was struggling to decline.
