Obito and I now stood in the basement of the mansion with the entire Akatsuki and Uchiha family, minus Fugaku and Mikoto. Rogue was laying obediently beside my feet as I stood next to Madara. Everyone was sitting and standing around the large room, black SUVs, and sedans in the underground garage. Tables and chairs sat out with computers and a few cell phones. Guns and bulletproof vests hung on the wall behind me and I was itching to practice shooting again. The group of men mingled and chatted as they settled where they wished.
"Is everything alright?" Madara kept his voice quiet and stood before me, blocking me from view.
"Your nephew knows his place now, and after tonight, everyone else will know my place," Madara smirked and reached for my hip, making Rogue growl in warning. "Easy," I commanded.
"I'm happy knowing he's this protective of you." Madara bummed happily before he kissed me lightly.
The sound of someone clearing their throat made Madara pull away and look over his shoulder, "Am I interrupting?" Izuna said dryly.
"It's been a long day, Izuna, I have no energy for you." I didn't try and hide my lazy and annoyed tone.
"Someone sounds like she needs-" Izuna was cut off by an angry growing Madara.
"Enough." Was all he offered his brother. "Let's get this over with." I was slightly shocked by his tone but left it alone. "Bring up the map." Madara looked to Sasori who moved to the laptop quickly and the projector came to life. Madara now looked to me and I stepped forward.
"The plan really doesn't change, but I have an idea on how to help you go unnoticed." I walked to the image that was on the wall and pointed to the bridge, "Attached the bridge is a pedestrian crossing, Dei can use Rogue as he goes for a jog over the bridge, make a few blocks and come back. This will allow you to cross over the building twice and confirm the shipment, as well as the security."
"How do we know this isn't a setup." Zetsu was the one who asked and I narrowed my eyes as I stepped from behind the blinding light of the projection.
"I've had ample opportunity I kill any number of you in this room, if I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead by now." My response was not received well by the man but Madara's stern voice cut off any answer he may have given.
"She's to be trusted just as much as everyone else in this room." I was genuinely shocked by his words and I had to school my reaction to one of indifference and confidence.
"As you wish." Was all Zetsu offered in return?
"Deidara, you work with Y/n on commanding the dog." Madara directed and Deidara approached me and Rogue slowly. "Sasori, Kisame you two go over the plans with Itachi and Obito again, in case you need to call them away." I was surprised by his command, Kiri was an hour away and the party was tomorrow night, but we moved as we were directed to.
Deidara and I moved to the opposite side of the room so we could work on him and Rogue getting comfortable with one another. "Sit." Rogue followed my words and I looked at Deidara, "Friend." I pointed to Dei and Rogue merely stared.
"Are you sure about this?" Deidara seemed terrified of the dog.
"He'll be fine, I promise. Just don't hit me." I laughed. I moved next to Deidara and called, "Come." Rogue walked over and paused in front of us. "Tell him what you want him to do, sit, down, stay and heel are the ones you need to know."
"Sit." Deidara wasn't very sure in his tone, but the canine still sat and Dei seemed to feel a little more confident. "Down." He said a little more sternly. Rogue complied and laid on the concrete floor.
